Towsers Branch Park — Attraction in Crofton

There are only 2 things you can do at this park the dog 3 parks and the basketball court.

There are 3 medium size dog parks at this location. One for smaller pups and 2 for the larger pups. It seems like it's a close group of people who frequently come to this park. The people and dogs are super friendly with a few socially awkward individuals/pups!

There is 1 basketball court here and it looks pretty run down but there are a few groups that still come to play on the court.

I just wish the county would put more lights at this park, it would allow dog owners to use the park later and maybe help prevent some of the selling/buying and use of drugs that occurs...

Just be careful letting your dogs roam without checking the area first. I found a bunch of glass - I usually take my dog to the park to play, not to get impaled with glass.

It’s a really nice park, open areas, plenty of seats, and there’s running water for the pups. There’s even an area for small dogs too. It gets muddy really quickly though so...

Dog park: If it's rained, bring a towel - they WILL play in the mud puddle. Park is mostly a large open pen with benches & an area for water. Poor drainage in the dog pens (one for large dogs, one for small dogs). Decent amounts of shade in the back of the pen. Shovels available for cleaning up. Trash bin desperately...
