Layton Gyros — Restaurant in Cudahy

We have gone here three times now. The gyro meat is a notch above anyone else's around here. It is very juicy, while most others are dried out. The battered french fries are also better than the crinkle cuts and steak fries the other places serve. The owner couldn't be more friendly and courteous. I look forward to him picking the phone up when I call in the order. Every time he said ten minutes and it would be ready. I know the guy has put in some good money in this place. The last time I was in there, it was very run down and dated. The entire restaurant was remodeled inside and is very nice. This is a local small business that I believe really deserves...

The original owner Paris that did all the remodeling and his craftsmanship shows, what a GR8 Cudahy place, you walk in thinking it's small its not, then you get Paris if you don't have a extrovert personalty you'll find it with Paris, the place is beautiful then you get the food TRUE fresh gyro meat no dried up rehash the Salad we split huge with fresh anchovies we asked for not 3 but 6 just DELISH desserts all hand made only caveat is get desserts before he eats them all!!! We have had take out several times now and always the gyros. Very delicious, the only thing I would like corrected is the tomatoes. We received the ends of the tomato with a whole in the middle to cut out the core, they truly were inedible. Not really a big deal, threw them out and cut our own. The rest was scrumptious and the owner is always so very pleasant. Looked at the entire menu when I was picking up, I definitely want to try breakfast. Lastly, tried the Lemon Soup, wow what a...
