To quote my deceased father..."this would be a great place to open a restaurant". We met our daughter who lives in Oak Creek here for dinner Friday night. I wasn't very busy when we got there but it started filling up soon after that. It took almost 20 min to have someone wait on us and it was soon clear there was only one waitress working. She was super nice and very apologetic but was spread very thing waiting on table and at one point making her own drinks behind the bar. We finally got our drink but then another 10 mins to place our order. This gal was working her butt off and clearly the bar staff was providing little or no support. We finally placed our order and the food arrived in a short time. Surprisingly the food was really good and served hot. I had the Smokestack which is sliced brisket & pulled pork. It was very good and the tater tots were awesome. It's hard to fault the waitress for any of these because she was so overwhelmed. We might go back if we see more reviews that the service has improved. They do have a pretty nice craft beer selection-list is shown in the picture.

I like to stop by a place several times before I review to gauge consistency and have more data points for my reviews to offset catching someone on a bad day or whatever. That said, this place has really turned a corner since I first stopped by some time ago. The food is much improved as is the service and general friendliness of the staff. It's a place I come to just hang out now and again, which means it's solid and consistent. I know, I blather on, but I like to address points lost. I can't put a finger on the atmosphere. Maybe, in the end, it's just a corner bar in a great space? Maybe it's just me being picky? The space is fantastic, perhaps underutilized? Not enough smaller tables? Sometimes, one just cannot put a finger on something like this. So, my advice is to come have a drink and a bite and help me figure it out?

It's a nice, clean bar with an excellent selection of beverages. We ordered the giant pretzel, to begin with, and that beast was huge, so maybe have at least 3 or 4 in your party because it's a beast of a pretzel. I ordered the oatmeal stout, which was delicious, and my wife ordered a bloody Mary. Both were exactly what we needed for lunch. I ordered the queso burger, which was very juicy and didn't lack in flavor, and the wife ordered a salad; after we ate, we played a couple of rounds of tabletop shuffleboard; we sat inside they have a large outdoor area that part of is covered so Inside or outside you'll be comfortable, That being said, would I go back The answer is yes. The place is clean, the food is good, and there is a shuffleboard table. What more could you ask for

I went here with a group of nine on a Tuesday night for burgers, and the experience was really disappointing. There were only about five other tables occupied, so the restaurant wasn’t overly busy. We placed our orders and got our drinks, but the food didn’t come out for an hour and 45 minutes. During that time, our server rarely checked in, and when we tried to order drinks at the bar, we were told our server would take care of us, even though they were hard to find.

About an hour in, a woman who seemed to be a manager came over. Instead of apologizing or offering help, she told us we should call ahead if we’re bringing a large group. She wasn’t friendly or helpful. A few people in our party ended up leaving before the food came out, but they still paid for their meals, even though they never received them.

When the food finally arrived, two burgers were missing. A cook had to come out to re-take those orders. They did take $20 off the final bill, but they also added an automatic gratuity without letting us know ahead of time.

The place itself is really cute and has a lot of potential, but the poor service made it a...
