Wanted to check this place out for a little while and I finally worked it into our group's schedule. Turned out only one other person was available when it was scheduled, but we had an absolutely lovely evening. The floor plan nicely keeps sound from traveling the entire length of the restaurant so we were able to hold a conversation without needing to repeat ourselves. Nice lighting, not real bright, but not so dim you can't read the menu. It WAS a bit warm inside, but I get it. It's 98 degrees outside. The back dining room could use more than one ceiling fan to get the air moving.

Service was great. So friendly. So welcoming. And so accommodating. We didn't realize we were the last ones in the place until we went to leave and they had to unlock the doors for us to get out. I apologized for not letting them closed as we were just enjoying our conversation and dinner. They weren't irritated at all. Said it was no trouble. If they WERE unhappy and just not sharing, they hid it VERY well. They are such lovely people.

The food is REALLY good. AND very reasonably priced. I ordered the steak taco salad and it was packed very nicely with STEAK, instead of mostly lettuce. Very nice balance. Fresh ingredients. SO much avocado. YUM. It comes with two sauces and the combination of the two is simply delicious. My friend ordered enchiladas and was very pleased with her choice.

Will definitely go...

Mexic103 joins El Tlaxcalteca and Tavo's Signature as the best Mexican restaurants in Milwaukee. The food was delicious, and the menu was filled with eclectic choices not on this city's typical Mexican restaurant menu. My Shrimp Diablo was excellent with just the correct amount of heat. The steak tacos were scrumptious, the meat succulent and not greasy. My spouse and I shared a crisp empanada with a crust that did not overwhelm the filling. She found the shrimp tacos to be her favorite. Everything was fresh, and the kitchen had culinary skills above the norm.

The rooms are spacious and well decorated. Don't be fooled by the exterior, which makes people think Mexic103 is just a bar. Mexic103 is a comfortable spot to dine in. It is worth the drive to Cudahy as 794 makes the trip quick and easy. Mexic103 is fantastic. Go and enjoy. You have...

Went here on a spur of the moment when our usual favorite Mexican place was closed. We had no expectations and were very happily surprised! First of all, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They care about the customers and if they are pleased, which is rare today. The food was excellent! We both ordered Verde Burritos but my friend had the grilled chicken and I had the shredded. The grilled was seasoned with what tasted like fajita seasoning and the shredded was tender and full of flavor as well. The Verde sauce was perfect with the right amount of spiciness! The sauce that came with the chips was delicious and unique and the guacamole was perfect. And of course, the magaritas were the perfect blend of lime and tequila. The place itself is clean, quaint and charming. Can't wait to go back and try some...

Started with complementary chips and salsa. I had the Tiajuana tacos, 3 tacos on soft corn shells filled with steak, chorizo, pastor, onion, cilantro and lime, along with a side of rice and beans. The shells were tender as was the meat and blended and seasoned perfectly. But, the star of the show was the margarita. Lime, with a hint of coconut on the rocks, gave it a smooth tropical taste. Absolutely delish, especially on a 90° day! The staff was friendly and attentive, keeping our glasses full :-) Overall, a wonderful experience. I will definitely be going back and enjoying their outside patio on a smidge cooler day.
