I've been to this restaurant many times since they opened, & the food & service was absolutely great, but the last 4 times I've gone here, the quality of the food & service has plummeted badly. Today, as always, I ordered my eggs "Over Medium-Well", which means Cook them & leave No 'watery, white, egg-white slime' running across my plate, but today one egg was severely Undercooked(I wish that I could've shared the video here also). The waitress seemed unimpressed when I showed her, & offered to take my plate, & have them cook me One Egg to replace that one, & I told her "no", because I didn't want the rest of my breakfast traveling through the restaurant. The other person at the table couldn't believe that she only offered to replace one egg. At the register, I asked her if I could talk to the manager, & Larisa, the waitress smiled, & stated that she was the mgr.. I told her that she could've taken something off of the bill for that almost raw egg, but she said that she offered to replace my entire breakfast, which is an absolute lie. She was rude, unprofessional, & inefficient from the beginning of the visit. I also saw that this place now Takes a minimum 20% tip from parties of 6 or more (bottom of receipt), which is very unfair if you'd receive bad food & bad service like I received today. This place lost 2 old customers today, plus their friends & family. Very shady place of business to have a manager that blatantly lies, regardless of more than one person witnessing their incompetent...
Read moreThis was our go to when my parents came in town. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill recently. Today was the last attempt at seeing if things were improved. Our food was awful - chilaquiles which was a favorite arrived soppy and soggy. The potato recipe had changed and not for the better - stale is the best way to describe it. It seems like whoever is cooking the food now has very little experience. The quality of the ingredients and items that they have for the customers has also dropped. No half and half & only non-dairy creamer got my dad. With the with a name change to Cafe Le Crème Brûlée I know some of us wondered if maybe the menu would change, possibly get more expensive, heck even serve Crème Brûlée. You would think least they would be maintain the quality of ingredients and not cut back to serving something you get for gas station coffee. My parents didn’t finish either of their dishes. Both were bummed and said that they wouldn’t be coming back. Side note, the care of the restaurant has also gone downhill - overgrown with weeds and messy.
When La Crema opened it was a wonderful addition, serving yummy food at decent prices with great service. When I’m paying for a meal the baseline is just that- prepared right and tasty. At the end of the day we want local restaurants to thrive so I’m hoping...
Read moreWent there today for lunch to celebrate our birthdays. Sat in the first booth with a 32 year young waitress. She was very rushed. It was 11:40 a.m. I ordered a Jalapeño Burger...when she brought it it was a mushroom Swiss burger, which I realized after 2 bites...didn't eat the huge bun..just took the burger off of it. When she re- appeared at our table I told her the mistake. She accused me of "playing" with her. My male friend could not back me up because he said he wasn't paying attention when I ordered. She NEVER offered to take it away & bring me the one I ordered NOR did she even offer to bribg me a little cup of jalapeños. My friend paid the bill, left a generous tip but I never ate any more of my burger. I was terribly upset. I should have asked for the Manager. Never again. Unfortunate because their...
