Sales lady did what sales people do - lie by omission. The freebies when you purchase a split king? Sheet set won't stay on the mattress, and the 100 dollar x 2 mattress pads? Its a glorified rubbery, noisey, crib-like mattress protector. She also did not tell us the 90 day try at home or send it back deal was not a full money return - but a mattress exchange only. The adjustable bases are not returnable / exchangeable. The mattresses are only exchangeable, though she led us to believe, we had a money back guarantee.
In response to Austin@bedzzexpress: Fortunately, we are happy with the adjustable bases and temperpedic mattresses. There is no real need to make anything right.. I did not ask to SEE the mattress pads.. I did not ask for the fine print in case we weren't happy and wanted a total refund... Based off what wording we HEARD being stated, I assumed a full refund if we were not satisfied. The freebies- I'd be much more upset if we had actually paid for them.. they are identical to what I used in my son's crib as a mattress protector, then add the paper thin super slick bamboo sheet set...we fought to keep the comforter, the flat sheet, and the fitted sheet on the bed all night for 2 nights in a row before we decided today to go pick out our own mattress protectors - for adults (we stopped wetting the bed decades ago) and 100% cotton sheet set. Hopefully we will sleep much better tonight instead of wrestling with our sheets while listening to a sqeaky rubbery...
Read moreThey do not care when it comes to fixing things. They claim to fix my bed but it came back dirty from dragging it and the foot board would not raise. I called and Angel the woman at the desk hung up on me after me telling her they put it together wrong. She said I should be grateful they even fixed itvand if I wanted what was still wrong fixed I'd have to pay. Mind you they are the ones who put it together wrong and it was not working. They were no help and just wanted to charge me more money for their mistakes. That is not right when they claim to fix it who treats their customers that way? I payed over $2,000 for my bed for them to treat me that way. You made the mistake so you should be the ones to fix it. I would not recommand this place in Cullman to no one. They are rude and they just don't care money is not what matters making sure you do the job right the first time is what matters. If it was my fault 0i would pay to have it fixed no issue but it was not. I paid what I did in June to get it fixed and should not have to pay for their mistakes as well. We finally found the mattress and box spring at Beds Express. It was a great bed in the store. We paid for the bed and to have it delivered. The bed that was delivered, was not the bed we bought and paid for.The bed that was delivered is an inferior mattress. Neither of us can sleep on the bed. The store will do nothing about it, because we did not buy a mattress cover for it. (over $100). The salesman did tell us we needed to buy the cover. Customer Service is a thing of the past and does not exist at beds express. Take my advice, when you are looking for bedding, go anywhere but "beds express" Over $600.00 gone with nothing to show for it. I will definitely be a smarter shopper after...
