I was in line waiting for my turn to get serviced and when it was, I asked for them to print a label for me. I did not know that you had to email your label to the store so when Lauren (the employee) told me to email it, I did. It took a total of 20 seconds. When I look up after I sent it, Lauren decided it would be a good idea to move on to another customer. So, I interrupted after a few minutes and told her that I had printed it. I waited and waited as she worked with the other customer. Finally, another employee who I did not get the name of gave me the label. IT HAD ALREADY BEEN PRINTED. So, not only did Lauren move on to another customer, she literally printed out the label and couldn’t take away 5 seconds it took to pick up a piece of paper and hand it to me so I could check out. What should have been maybe a 5 minute service (waiting time included), turned into a 20 minute service. I am very upset with the service I received because I myself work in customer service and know how a customer should be treated. Very disappointed, will not come back. Read moreThe representatives at OfficeMax have made absolutely no effort to give me information on the shipment of my desk to my house. I paid approximately $700 and was told I would receive the desk in 1 - 3 days. Long story short, it's been almost a month and the only way I got any information on the whereabouts of my desk was by calling them myself. Today I called only to learn that my desk was sent back to the warehouse a week ago, because "the truck couldn't make it down my road". We've had trucks come up our road before, but I won't get in to that. The only option I was given today during our call was to reorder the desk and have it sent to the store. At no point was I given this option when I originally purchased the desk. They are now in the process of mailing me a check to refund me for the desk. That won't arrive until a month from now. Read moreThe staff was super friendly. I was looking for a computer chair and found one that I like. They were out of stock at the store, as well as other stores in the area, and online. The lady who was originally helping me got pulled away, but that was ok because another employee stepped in and let me know that I could purchase the floor model, if I wanted to. The gentleman who stepped in was the one that checked me out. Ultimately, this store has amazingly friendly staff and I will go back to this store for my future...
