I went with a tour group from Fountain Valley on a weekday. A lot of the (huge)stage doors were closed & the tour lady said a few are usually open, so we didn't see much there. There was a lot of walking, and as a senior I was okay with it, but some weren't. We got to sit in the audience area of Jeopardy but since filming was over for the season (?), there was nothing there but a blank stage, no podium, no signs, etc. We could see the overhead lights -weren't turned on though. We were all Judy Garland fans, and this studio (MGM) is where Wizard of Oz was filmed, but no costumes or sets were saved since it wasn't expected to be a big hit movie- sad. The costume and prop department was nice, but I hadn't seen most of the movies, so not a big deal to me. Outlander, Men in Black, Stewart Little and Spider-Man, Ghostbusters to name a few. The gift shop was a disappointment to me, as there was a lot of "Sony Studios " items like shot glasses, clothing etc, and not any postcards, not much movie memorabilia items...
