I booked this venue for my friend's funeral Repast where family and friends gather together to have a meal. The process of booking was made easy by Daniella. She made an exception and allowed us to use the Multipurpose Room which accommodated 100 people for a banquet style dinner. I saw pictures, but I really didn't know what to expect. The venue was close to the Cemetery so location, in this case was everything! Well, when guests arrived, they found a nice, relaxing setting and plenty of safe parking! That mattered! When they entered the area they found a beautiful patio with stylish tables and chairs just outside of the Multipurpose Room. That was a bonus that surprised me because it allowed some of the younger guest to sit and eat comfortably while their parents could clearly see them through the glass. Inside of the Multipurpose Room were plenty of round tables and chairs to accommodate all of our guests comfortably. The Facilities Department did a masterful job of setting up and ensuring everyone had plenty of room surrounding their tables and chairs! We were also given rectangular serving tables. They were placed appropriately so that the guests could easily form a line and serve themselves. There were bathrooms located right in our hallway. They were clean and well stocker with supplies. I had to be dreaming! Everything was great! The banquet room was immaculate and serene. Everyone felt a warm welcoming vibe. The pièce de résistance resistance or the grand finale was the very AFFORDABLE PRICE. I could have never imagined all that we got, the quality of what we got, the location we got and the courteous, conscientious service we received was invaluable. These people and their offerings made me look GOOD! I don't mean to brag, but as soon as I arrived, (after getting lost...a long story), I entered a room full of people comfortably seated enjoying their meal. You'd have thought we were having a classy celebration. We were not, but if the shoe fits.... Anyway, I immediately went to the bathroom. I seriously had to go, but when I looked at myself in the mirror, I had a great sense of pride! I had, in my opinion made my late friend proud. She had to be smiling. Had she been alive, she'd have high-fived me! I feel like getting married and booking this wonderful place. Not really, but booking this place again ...

I would rate it higher, but I am not as you can see from the picture, there is a sign saying dogs have a pooch path right. Well had a staff member come and tell me that dogs are not allowed in the park, but he never looked and saw my dog is a service dog. So I showed him the sign now I am a disabled veteran and my wife and I are sitting behind my car in our chairs with our dog sitting between us with her water bowl on the pooch path and my dog has on her leash. So for this park to be called Veterans park they are not to friendly towards Veterans or should I say this Veteran and his service dog. I wasn't about to move so they send another staff member who happens to be African american to come and talk to me and my wife, Now he was such a nice man he explained a whole lot that the other guy didn't, once I showed him my dogs I'd then it became obvious that this was not a typical situation. The young man suggested we could move down to another area ,as I stated I am disabled and can't walk to the area he suggested. I could imagine what would have happened if they 1st guy wanted to call the police. Then they would have been in trouble with The feds for violation of the ADA. American disability Act. I get it Culver City need to change their policies I know some dog owners don't clean up after dog which causes problems for those of us who are responsible dog owners. As a U.S. Veteran I feel sort of disrespected. It is not just the 1st guy it seems that some people who never put on a military uniform want to dictate some stuff, but we Veterans made it possible for the...

I attended an exercise class here. A long time ago I also attended a birthday party here. This building is attached to a huge park. This park consists of various sports courts, an outdoor swimming pool, a play area and bar-b-que area for outdoor parties. Nice , well maintained park with tall trees and grass to enjoy personal family outings, bring kids, and play with them. The adjacent building has rooms inside it of various dimensions. Some rooms have outdoor patios attached to it. It's a very friendly place to book for memorable events, meetings, small conferences. Culver City Parks & Rec Dept runs this place and rents these venues at a fair price. There's a special discount for Culver City residents in rates. They also provide security for additional costs. Rooms come along with chairs and tables of various shapes. You'll have to bring your own decorations, cutlery, food items and drinks. Highly recommended. Advance booking is required especially during events seasons like graduation,...

I circled the Culver City area for parks. I drove to 3-4 checked them out. They weren't real suitable no shade/restroom/parking. Veterans Memorial was my last resort! I was looking to eat my lunch. Jackpot! Veterans Memorial had it all! Very large park, plenty of parking and shade in multiple areas around the park. As others described it has all the amenities something for everyone and all nationalities! It has a museum as well! Nice, pleasant, and very enjoyable! I actually fell asleep! Lol 😆 I recommend Veterans Memorial. I'll be back and bring a friend.

Veteran’s Park in Culver City, a versatile and functional park space. Great for a family party on the weekends, a car show during the year or like for my wife, host a Quinceñera here. She can remember stepping off the curb to the steps leading up to the hall and thinking How beautiful this place is. So please, if you are in the area, take a break from your day and visit the Veterans Memorial Park Im Culver City, Ca.
