Okay.. So come during random hours (aka not during the before work or after work times) and you'll land a great spot in front of the place AND no line.

The next thing I wanted to try here was the Mexican mocha latte, but my parched self wanted it cold. And guess what? Ask and you shall receive. I LOVE that this place isn't pretentious. I'm a coffee noon but I love good coffee and the lady who helped me answered all my questions patiently. I wanted to buy a bag of coffee to take home, and she took me to the back of the shop to show me their collection. Wow!!! They have a lot of coffee and tea!!

I love when people have passion for their job and she sure knew her coffee. She was excited to have me smell the coffee beans and the one I chose was from Ethiopia and had a hint of blueberry and you could def smell that from just the beans!

She answered my upkeep questions and I left feeling more educated about coffee! Cool! BTW they grind the coffee according to what brewing device you use... Um awesome!!

Mexican mocha latte was delish cold, but I couldn't tell the difference between that and a mocha latte. I got the Mexican chocolate cookie too.. I could taste the spice there!

If you want to buy the coffee beans/ grounds, they are around $7-8 for half a pound and she said they will last up to 3 weeks in an...

By far my new favorite coffee shop. I only discovered this place about a month ago and now it's a must go place for me when I am in the area.

Employees are great, always have a great attitude which really helps make you feel good about going here and I feel like it also goes a long way in making us the customers be in a good mood while here as well.

Coffee also is as good if not better than any place I've had and prices are extremely reasonable considering this is Culver City and nearby coffee shops are much more in line what you'd expect to pay for this area.

Also the pastry and showcase items are all really good from the handful I've had and again all really well priced, under $5 which is pretty shocking for the quality and considering today's economic climate.

I really can't recommend this place highly enough, if you're just passing through or don't live far but have happened to miss this place before, do yourself a favor and go, you...

My husband has been frequenting this coffee shop for over a decade and a half and I for over 6 years. It’s the only place where coffee truly feels like a therapeutic experience. I’m not a coffee connoisseur , but I’m an ardent coffee enthusiast, especially as a toddler mom. Over the years, my love for coffee has grown so much that when we relocated to a different city, we made sure to pack coffee beans so I could continue enjoying my favorite brews at home. This coffee shop has become a cherished ritual for us, and we always make sure to schedule our coffee dates here. This time, we brought along six pounds of my favorite coffee beans to ensure we had a delightful coffee experience back home. I also appreciate their support for the local artists who perform live music sessions during the noon hours. However, I do wish they could extend their operating hours a bit and open on at least one...

You can't go wrong with The Conservatory. They have fantastic coffee roasted fresh in the shop, their tea selection is insane and the pastry offerings are always on point. If you need help choosing a coffee, the staff are all very friendly and knowledgable. I've been buying their organic fresh roasted beans for the better part of two years and I can say I have always been greeted with a big smile. Everyone their knows the coffee and can help you decide what beans you'll like based on easy to understand descriptors like "chocolatey" or "fruity." Telling them your brew method of choice isn't a bad idea either. If you want an intensely fruity, blueberry-like coffee I highly recommend the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Natural. Ask to smell the beans and you'll be blown away. It's even better if they're offering that as the single origin espresso for the day.
