Please don’t hire people as cashiers who are grumpy, what a terrible experience this afternoon ( have been a customer for 10+ years. )
I asked I need soil and this old lady called Lin ( I think ) at the cashier says I need to pay first and collect it , hold on can you tell me what options I have before you ask me to pay ?
Second while paying I had a question but the same lady will not answer any questions or talk to you while she is scanning because apparently she can only do one task at a time.
Last I asked her I need fertilizer for my indoor plants and told her if I could pick it up quickly as there was no one behind me , guess what she says “ I need to go for lunch please pay for this and come back again”
Thanks Summer winds there is always a Home Depot and Amazon. Remember I was a Customer at your store in Wolfe and El Camino as well as the one in Santa Clara both of which closed, the day is not far where the Cupertino store will be a thing of the past. I don’t see a reason to support such business if the attitude is as cold as a Home Depot

Read morePlace has potential but service and management plays equal role. If I pay for a plant which includes both the plant and the pot I would expect both to be in complete state. Manager decided because the plant is going in the ground therefore the pot can be in any state and no discount is warranted. I reuse pots and it is included in the price of the product so what do you think is this manager right or wrong? These pots sold alone are not cheap so I am surprised that she saw no value in a broken pot that I just paid for full price. I think that people receive discounts at stores in general just for asking for it and for no particular reason and often receive something but in this case manager should not be managing anything. This is simple customer service type stuff after spending $250 on "potted" plants. Price of the potted plant includes Plant and Pot. They both have value not...
Read moreReview is mainly for the indoor plants. Pretty solid selection and variety (which seems to mostly change the varieties when I visit every few months). They have few hard to find plants most of the time I visit them for relatively cheaper than how much those rare ones are sold. This is my most favorite SummerWinds Nursery of all the ones in the bay due to their variety and selling more cheaper variety you can grow to make them bigger (which is one of major fun part of plants!) Haven’t had noticeable bug issues either. I’ve had one or two times with fruit fly looking thing but rare to have that issue from my experience.(so far). Hopefully they’re keep the good variety and cheap but small plants since those are super fun to try and grow (I end up killing half of...
