Fabrication Yard — Attraction in Dallas

!!!BE CAREFUL IF YOU GO HERE. Loved the artwork but need to leave one star and warn others after me, my boyfriend and another friend were visiting at 11.30 am on Thursday last week. A couple cars started stalking us and we have evidence to believe their intentions weren’t positive. Stay safe guys. Was my first time in Dallas and I was super pumped to check out the yard and all the work that society and artists have put in to making that place so amazing. I would have LOVED to spend a lot more time there checking it out but unfortunately it was cut short by some individuals with clearly bad intentions. This unique art gallery that Dallas has allowed us to have, is a privilege, not a right. The fact that the Dallas art community has appreciated the street art recognition and be included in their genre is an honor. A plethora of art forms us this location as a medium to share their visions. Please be respectful. It is actually not public but has been publicised. Show some eddicate as an artist, respect for the property owners, appreciation for those that support its existence, respect the surrounding businesses that don't call athorities, respect for the volunteers that clean up your mess and ensure future enjoyment by not having it closed down. I feel this place both deserves a five star and three. It's five stars for the budding graffiti artists who get a chance to work in a space where they can truly explore their own creativity. It's three stars because I don't think this is a touristy place at all. It's not really an attraction and while my photos may 'look good', it's because I was trying to make the best of the situation. It isn't somewhere I'd particularly recommend to go for anyone.
