I hate putting negative reviews on businesses since I always want to see businesses thrive in this difficult economy. I did like the concept the establishment is trying to do to help business but in my opinion it's a miss for the reasons below.
The quality of the food was ok, a bit expensive on most items though given the fact that their system is supposed to make it easier for restaurants to reach customers. For some of the prices they have here I believe that it may be better to just find a specific restaurant that is both cheaper and better quality outside of this establishment.
I didn't expect a great customer experience when I arrived but I also didn't expect bad customer service since the system is supposed to create a smoother experience. I ordered at the kiosk and stayed vigilant for either my name called or a number on the screen. I didn't receive either after waiting 50 minutes. When I went to the counter and asked for my order they pulled it out and I could tell it had been sitting there for some time. I couldn't tell if it was done maliciously or because of neglect but I was very disappointed. There was no apology or attempt to correct a wrong. Customer experience in this establishment isn't very great, and the front desk staff didn't seem very welcoming. A smile or a positive attitude toward customers can go a long way. This experience alone will probably keep me from coming back in...
Read moreIf you are a foodie, this is your spot. There are so many restaurants to choose from. My faves are as follow: The Taco Kitchen—they have the best Birria/Quesabirria in all of West Dallas. They have other items you should definitely check out too though. If you like spicy, you must try the jerk salmon tacos—it’s cooked to perfection and it is spicy, so if you like a kick, this is a MUST. They are known for their 3-layered ground beef taco which is fye too. You can’t go wrong with any of their food. My next favorite is the Krazy Bowls. As you can see, I love jerk. Try their Jerk Salmon Bowl. Thank me later. And…if you like shrimp n grits, those are on point too. They have really great bowls. Oh, they just added birria ramen bowls too…so so yummy. That consommé is so good you can drink it. Okay…now Kajun Korner has catfish n cheesy grits and they did not miss the mark. I love this combination. But they also serve catfish and shrimp dinners too. And if you’re vegan like my daughter, check out The V Kitchen. It is vegan/vegetarian, so make sure you check for dairy is some items. But overall, the plantbased meat they use is seasoned very well. They have a Mexican flare to most menu items. The facility itself is very welcoming with limited seating inside/outside. I see folks eating in their cars. Why not!?!? Overall, I’ve been coming here for several months now and you are sure to find something...

I've had the pleasure of trying both the pastor and birria tacos from 2 Compas Kitchen at their Arlington location and their new spot, and I can confidently say these are the best tacos around. The flavor is consistently amazing no matter which location you visit, making 2 Compas Kitchen a reliable go-to for taco lovers.
The pastor tacos are a perfect blend of savory and sweet, with tender, marinated pork that’s cooked to perfection. The pineapple adds just the right touch of sweetness, while the cilantro and onions bring a fresh, crisp contrast. Every bite is a flavor explosion, wrapped up in a warm, soft tortilla.
Their birria tacos are equally impressive, with rich, flavorful beef that's been slow-cooked until it practically melts in your mouth. The deep, savory broth that comes with the birria tacos is perfect for dipping, adding an extra layer of indulgence to the experience. It's hard to find birria tacos this good, and 2 Compas Kitchen has truly nailed it.
What makes it even better is how convenient their new location is for those in the Dallas downtown area. Whether you're in Arlington or Dallas, you can expect the same top-notch taste and quality. If you're in the mood for some incredible tacos, the pastor and birria tacos at 2 Compas Kitchen...
