Extremely disappointing.

I pass by this place everyday when I come home from work. I normally go to another crab place in GP but this is closer to home so I figured I would give it a try.

Big mistake.

First, it was loud in there. The music is way too loud. Went with a party of 4, we couldn’t even hear each other talk. Calm down with music. The off brand Pitbull look alike DJ isn’t necessary.

Menu is basic but not accurate. Tried to order 1/2 pound of crab legs and 1/2 pound of mussels per the menu but I was told I couldn’t. I would have order a full pound of each. Whatever … I order a kind of each

Ordered calamari for the table. Frozen and bland. I do not recommend.

I’m pretty sure I didn’t get a pound of each item that I ordered. Not sure how they weight it (do they include the corn and potatoes?)

The crablegs we ordered seem to be anorexic crabs. There was hardly any meat. The sauce was good but the lack of meat in the skinny crab legs was disappointing. Mussels were just ok, a bit chewy but with the sauce just ok. I feel that I ate more corn than crab meat. I left hungry.

My two friends ordered a pound of shrimp. They did not get a pound of shrimp. It was comical.

Service was ok. Nothing special.

Overall, this place was very disappointing. I regret going and spending $180.

I do not recommend. Go elsewhere.

Oh and they have a billboard showing how they got rated #1 crab house in DFW by D Magazine. Thats a damn lie. They either made it up or D magazine doesn’t know what they are talking about.

Just very disappointed on the service and food ESPECIALLY THE SERVICE. This was and my first and LAST time coming here. Food was overcooked. Music is way to loud. Our waitress Ashley never checked on us. When it came to ordering I ordered the BC#2 because it seem like a good amount for the party i was with. Ashley informed me they did not have king crabs, and at first like okay well I guess. I took another look at the menu and told her well since there is not King crab I'll get the BC#1 and she rudely said that's what i was trying to tell you. I explained to her I did not hear her because the music was so loud and she needed to speak up. At this point I was upset on how she responded I told her okay just get me the number #1. When I asked for the check I noticed she charged me for 2 #1's (now mind you it's my first time here I did not know what and how my food looks and how it comes) anyways I asked her why she charged me for 2 #1's when I ordered jus1. She responded with a attitude and said I said it wasn't going to be enough for y'all I told her she doesn't have the right to just ASSUME I wanted 2. She already pissed me off and i just needed to get out of there. So I paid my bill and asked to speak with the manager and I was told he wasn't there, I asked who is charge she not here, again who can I speak with if there's an issue all I kept getting was he's not here. Like come on! This place is unprofessional and the main reason I will never return is the SERVICE. They need to do better just so sad Just a waste of...

If you like wasting money, then I suggest you eat here. I would rather eat out of the garbage can than waste another hard earned dollar at this place. First, they do not know if they want to be a restaurant or a bar. You get charged outrageous prices for water down, flavorless overcooked, rubbery seafood, and stale tostadas. And, when ordering drinks that are not made as specified on the drink list, you have to pay a separate price instead of being charged for food and drinks together (scamming). Also, when you specified how you would like your food made, these dummies still make your food however they feel like making it, I guess according to who is there and the lack of care about what they are serving you. The staff is unaware and always seemed to be in the clouds unless you look like them. It is a waste of time and money to even be bothered with this place. HEED MY WARNING AND WORDS: DO NOT EAT HERE, YOU WILL BE HIGHLY...

Hi, my first time here. I bought the fried pickles, fish, and shrimp. The fried pickles are plumb and fresh, just a bit skimpy on the amount you get compared to other places I've bought. French fries are tasty and fresh. The fish is good size and appeared to be fresh, the shrimp as well, just that the shrimp appeared to be smashed into a butterfly that when biting into appeared to be skinny and over fried to a crisp. The seasoning is not so much as the coating is to bland for my taste. Had others fish to be more on a tastier side. The hushpuppies have jalapeños inside it, so it's not good for the kids. Lastly, the condiment tray appeared to be worn out and dirty and missing tops. The restroom is decent, and I didn't have any more hand soap. I will come again to see if any improvement has been made and will try a different dish.

The food is alright. The mussel boil bag was over cooked and over seasoned. Grilled oysters were salty AF, and a little pricey. The shrimp ceviche was pretty good. Prices were all over the place. Most of the seafood is expensive, yet calamari was only $4, and a guy at the bar had a huge guacamole order that was only $3.80. So, while lots of things are high, you can get by pretty cheap here too. Guessing most people come here to drink and hang out and maybe order an appetizer, for that this place seems like a good choice. It is a little hot though being that the place is open air at the bar. Most seating is also outside.
