Lalangas Family Dentistry — Attraction in Dallas

Dr. Tina Lalanges is hands-down the best dentist I’ve ever been to, and I’ll never go anywhere else again. I first went to her 15years ago, and when she left the practice, I ended up having a horrible experience with the dentist who replaced her. After avoiding the dentist for 4 years out of fear and frustration, I finally went to a new office in Frisco, only to be hit with a $5,000 treatment plan for two crowns and other dental work that didn’t even feel necessary. That’s when I decided to track Dr. Lalanges down—I knew she would be honest with me and I’m so glad I did as I didn't end up needing any of that dental work and she has me on a treatment plan to ensure that I won't need major dental work - since I am already terrified of the Dentist.

I used to drive 45 minutes just to see her because she’s the most honest and caring dentist in town, I’m thrilled that she has moved closer to Frisco—now it’s only a 20-minute drive to her new office. She’s incredibly detail-oriented and always goes out of her way to make patients feel comfortable. For instance, they always have my favorite show ready to watch during my appointments, which is such a thoughtful touch. This time, I was amazed that she had already adjusted the nose piece for the nitrous without me even saying anything—it had been uncomfortable during a previous visit, and she must have realized it and purchased a new nose piece to ensure her patients are comfortable during their visit..

I also have to give a huge shoutout to her hygienist, Rocio Estrada, who is just as wonderful. Rocio is so kind and gentle, and she always takes the time to explain what she’s doing in a way that helps ease my anxiety. Together, they make the perfect team, and I always feel like I’m in the best hands when I’m there.

Dr. Lalanges and Rocio truly care about their patients and always do what’s best for them, not for their bottom line. I trust them completely and wouldn’t go anywhere else. If you’re nervous about the dentist or just looking for someone who is kind, honest, and amazing at what they do, Dr. Lalanges and her team are the ones to see....

I was in an accident and was able to get seen in pretty short notice! Everybody is so nice and you can tell that they care about you as a patient and you get the feeling that they have high expectations of themselves for treating their patients!

Alicia was Dr. Lalangas assistant with procedures was very nice and caring.

I had some chipped and broken teeth along with a broken jaw. Dr. Lalangas was so concerned about me that she made personal calls to get me in to see a jaw specialist immediately after my appointment with her. Along with getting me rescheduled to see her again asap. This was a great level of care and help that was extraordinary and made me feel well cared for in a time of need.

Rachel at the front desk is very kind, warm-hearted, and caring as well. After my appointment with the jaw specialist that yielded some not so good new, Rachel was very sympathetic and very receptive to my "venting" and feelings of anxiety. It was like a warm shoulder to cry on for a few minutes.

I've never been so well received, respected, cared for, and felt like they truly cared about me. What a great group of people and a great professional Dentist office!

I appreciate everything that they did for me coming off of an accident when I was really injured, mentally down and out, and just needing exactly their kindness, care, and treatment. I am grateful that I was able to get in to see them on such...

Since moving to Dallas in 2019 and thanks to a family connection, my wife and I "found" Tina and, boy, are we glad we did! Tina is as competent as she is caring, thoughtful and gentle! She's a great listener too - her professional actions and guidance are not only based on what she sees but also what she hears from you. And she explains things well, whether it comes to needed work and timing or the pros and cons of different approaches or discretionary work. In short, Tina is nothing less than amazing across the board. I just had my cleaning this morning at her new digs on Preston and met her wonderful staff. And for us, there's a bonus: she's now only 5 minutes away from our house! So if you're looking for a dentist or thinking about a change, I recommend her without hesitation. Bring your kids, and heck, bring your grandkids! Family dentistry is right! But most importantly, bring yourself. You'll be in good hands (pun intended). Will Rodman

Update: Breaking news! Just got a crown. The whole process was effortless. The temporary and permanent crowns fit like a glove without ANY needs for adjustment (vs. our old dentist in Massachusetts) and it closed a gap...so no more flossing after every meal. I know...TMI. Anyway, just...
