The most Uncool people run this place, and the stuff isn't even cool!! The catchy phrase pulled us in "Lula B's Cool Stuff for Cool People" My husband and I adopted a healthy lifestyle about 1.5 years ago. So rather than drive around Dallas, we opted to explore on foot! I was wearing a waist pack and my husband a backpack. We came inside this establishment and paused at the front counter, said hello to a man and woman behind it, and switched from our sunglasses to regular glasses before proceeding to look around the store. Approximately 3 min later, the man from behind the counter (that we had just said hello to), chased us down and told my husband he would have to take his backpack and leave it behind the front counter. So fine, my husband handed the man his backpack. Immediately we look in front of us, and there is another man with the same size backpack on. Maybe a fluke? We proceed down the 1st isle, and come across another patron with the same size backpack on! Look around and see several other people with backpack sized purses! Now we're offended! We go to the front to get my husband's backpack before we leave, and the woman behind the counter says "done so soon?" I proceed to tell her we are offended, and why. The man behind the counter says it's for security reasons. I tell him I get it, but I'm still offended we were targeted. The woman behind the counter makes up some story that we weren't being targeted, she thought my husband would be more comfortable with his backpack off! Wow! They couldn't even get their story right! Anyway, we saw about 1/3rd of the store, and it was overpriced junk! A lot of the items there were too junkie to even be found at a Thrift shop. At least there, the prices would be reasonable! Not sure why we...

If you read down you will notice a trend of people complaint about rude service. Unfortunately I too just experienced that. When I walked in I said “hello” to the two employees behind the counter who weren’t necessarily busy no one acknowledged which is whatever. but then I wanted to ask someone who appeared to be an employee a question, but I couldn’t tell since they are dressed normal as-well. So I said “excuse me sir” they didn’t answer, and continued shuffling through items,, I said it again. They said “what’s up” I asked “ do you work here? “ He answered: “no I’m just here being helpful for no reason” I’m a sarcastic tone. I had quite literally done nothing to provoke this response I didn’t raise my voice I was just trying to get some help. I proceed on saying “wow” and the employee continue to mock me “wow”.

The older front gentleman in the front was much kinder. A few bad eggs make this place an unpleasant experience and as someone mentioned below, I could feel a hint of racial profiling from that particular employee.

I did buy several hundreds $ worth of items even after that treatment and I do think the store needs to replace those bad employees. Because they do have great products.

I do appreciate you the owner apologize for this on this review. I do want to emphasize however this employee was not Joking with me. They were rude. Angry even. eyeball rolling. It was really bad. I was so shocked I said wow. And my son was next to me. So much so I actually told them never mind and...

One of the best antique shops I’ve been to with a massive variety of artifacts and items. It’s fairly well-organized which is nice in case you are looking for something in particular, but it still has the trademark antique shop feel and look so you can definitely spend hours perusing the shop. I was on the hunt for antique Fiestaware and the shop staff were kind enough to hold my finds up front while I continued to peruse and didn’t make a fuss while I was indecisively sorting through my items at the counter when I was done looking. I was able to find some good pieces and had a great conversation with the staff who were pretty knowledgeable about Fiestaware and were very informative. Prices are a bit steep and there were a few resellers in the store checking out Ebay but that’s kinda the name of the game at this point at places like this and Goodwill. I highly recommended this place for any antique lover and anyone else looking for a fun way to spend...

This is a wonderfully eclectic vintage / antique mall with each section being from a different vendor. It's an absolute treasure trove, and if you love mid century modern or jewelry (costume and authentic!) Most prices and conditions of items are amazing. This magical store will invoke the most nostalgic of memories and feelings. You probably won't be able to leave without snagging a fond childhood memory or just a stunning gem of the past to take home with you! I definitely recommend visiting either for pure enjoyment or for mid-century modern treasures to incorporate into your home or office decor!
