Royal Cavalier Bakery & Donuts — Restaurant in Dallas

Not sure what happened, inflation etc but I've lived in this neighborhood for 20 years and I travel alot , I haven't wanted a donut in a long time i went to my favorite place , I used to be so poor ibwud look for change in my couch to walk and get donuts , today I went as nostalgia and was changed $2 for 2 donuts does this sound right ? Isn't that why ppl bring donuts to work for employees bc its cheap........so 12 donuts cost $12 what ? Huh bro 6 donuts used to be $2 am I tripn bc I know what it cost to produce and manufacture a donut , I think I was robbed voluntarily Last time they see anybody my money . I really hope they not robbing the neighborhood ...

I was working near by and searched for "Donuts near me" and was lucky to be close to this shop. I was looking for a coffee pick me up and an apple fritter and wasn't disappointed. The gentleman at the counter made me a great coffee on the spot and was delicious. The apple fritter was just right. The Legos on display were a nice touch. I will have to bring my son to have a pastry here since he is a Lego maniac lol. Great...

This used to be named Southern Maid Donuts. Same owners. They have more than just donuts (which by the way are always oh so fluffy). I’ve tried their kolaches, breakfast tacos (sausage, egg, cheese)they give you a small salsa verde which is delicious. I’ve had their special (see pic) and that was very filing and tasty.
