Restaurant Depot — Attraction in Dallas

Truck driver review. After making entry, and you see a glass window with a person on the other side, naturally you think that's where I'm supposed to take my bills. No. Wrong answer at this place. That Karen behind the glass is going to frantically point at you, using multiple hand and arm signals, as you think you are being attacked from behind. So in my immediate area search for threats I see a sign for drivers, behind me. It's on the other side of a vendors cart blocking its view. As I'm ducking and climbing through the cart to get close enough to the small sign to read it, Karen decides to come yell at me to read the sign, as if I hadn't figured it out. I reply "yes Ma'am." She continues to scream read the sign as her fellow employees on the dock tell her "he said yes Ma'am." So in my former drill Sergeant voice I reply with a booming "yes Ma'am" as I look her in the eye. In short, put a sign in the cage where we can see it upon entry. Once we enter at least have the area we need to get to clear of vendors. I guess in a nutshell common sense would dictate to put the damn sign in front of the drivers. Maybe on the wall just to the right of Karen's window, in front of the entry, to prevent her future meltdowns. And Karen, to you personally, every person on that dock saw your disrespect. I don't know what position you hold but I hope it isn't management on any level. Learn some respect and professionalism. Everyone else I dealt with there was very courteous and polite. I was unloaded in reasonable time and in general other than my initial greeting have no complaints. It's a simple and efficient system, just put it where it's obvious. Thereby avoiding Karen's coronary or breaking her finger...

I’m the regular buyer from them coz it’s near to my restaurant, first the positive point , when John is there the service is very fast , he is very fast & always there to help and if more customers are on the waiting then he always calls for the staff if any of the cash register is vacant. Now my bad experiences, normally I always count my items before coming to pay , it helps & saves time . One time I made a mistake in counting after that they have been treating me like I’m a thief or something, now always taking time in counting which I don’t mind , but one day the cart Was all full and there was a small packet of mint inside & was not visible the lady called John to come & check that it’s hidden , the total amount I purchased was around 900$ , does it make sense to buy the items worth 900$ and hide a small packet of mint of 5/6$ , it’s ridiculous . Again John responded in a good way & said something to her that I couldn’t hear . But it’s really hurting on the part of that lady, there is one more staff guy 3/4 times I tried to ask him about something, he always turned his face away & said I don’t know anything , very very rude guy . The restaurant depo store in Dallas is the worst store I have ever been in. We restaurant owners don't have much time to waste since our time is between customers and cooking. I could be patient when paying with long lines and a lot of waiting time but today was the worst day trying to grab a bag of flour but they were all on wooden pallets and the only one that was there was rip when it got to the checkout I asked the cashier to please give me tape and she said it with a bad attitude that bothered me and I looked at the manager and asked her to change my bag but she said I had to wait between 20 and 30 minutes that was what bothered me the most. It bothered me that I know what customer service is since it's part of my job in my business and I know how to ask nicely and I also understand when someone doesn't want to help you! Richardson's store is 10 minutes further than the one in Dallas but I definitely prefer to drive further and I know that the customer service is good and very friendly since they have helped me in the past and the waiting lines are not as long as...
