Cake4One — Restaurant in Dallas

It was a typical Friday game night for 6 of us. At 11:26 pm we ordered 4 cakes on Uber eats and called the shop to confirm if they are able to process our order since this place closes at 11:30 pm. The person on the phone not only accepted our order but also assured us they will wait for the Uber driver and then close. This shows great customer service. We wanted to add one more cake to the order but Uber eats won’t let us edit the original so we just asked the owner if they could add another order. We were willing to Zelle them the extra money. We weren’t expecting to get the 5th cake as it was already late. To our surprise, they sent an additional cake with the Uber driver for free. We were so amazed by this gesture. The cakes were freaking delicious. Tried the red velvet, carrot, birthday bash, chocolate and lemon cakes. Would recommend this place to everyone living in the Dfw area. We look forward to placing many more orders...

Wow. When me and my family went to Cake4One we had just finished a fun outing and this was quite literally our cherry on top of the night. Mrs. Kelly the owner greeted us with a beautiful smile and positive attitude even though it was 11 at night and she must have been tired from working. My family and I could tell that she puts everything she can into her business and to see that is amazing. The cake we got more than good. It is moist and fluffy and the amount of icing it has on top is the perfect amount. My dad loves carrot cake and this was the first time he tried one from a bakery and it actually felt like the treat captured why he loves carrot cake. I highly enjoyed the cookies and cream, it was very moist and melted in my mouth and it is just stunning to look at. We will definitely come back! Cake4one is our family's go to spot for something sweet. We have been coming here for months and have never been disappointed with any of the cakes. Not only is everything on the menu amazing, so is the service! If you want to feel at home when you walk in, and a taste of heaven when you dig in this is the place to go.

Update: Our family loves cake4one. We consistently come here when we have a sweet tooth, but most of all we really enjoy visiting and conversing with the owners. Mrs. Kelly and her husband are always so warm and welcoming. Plus our taste buds thank us every time. I can't get enough of the Taro cake and my wife's new favorite is the chocolate cake and red velvet.
