I am generally very understanding of staffing issues or an overwhelming amount of traffic causing issues with service. It happens and I have been on the other end of things like that, so I have a fairly high tolerance for issues in the service industry. However, the experience I had this evening at Bowlounge was astonishingly negative. I waited at the bar for 15 minutes without being acknowledged when I first arrived, and when I finally did receive my drink it was alright. The bartender I ordered from had to watch another bartender make the drink for him. About 2 hours after this initial incident, which I shrugged off, my group finally got our chance to bowl. We were told that we could order food from the aisle. We ordered two orders of cheese sticks and two orders of fries. We asked about the food 30 minutes after our order and were reassured that it will be on its way several times. We were told by a different server that the kitchen was out of cheese sticks, again after being reassured multiple times that our order was in its way. After two games, approximately an hour and half into the actual bowling and after we had ordered, we were finally told that the food was delivered to different patrons and that there were major communication breakdowns. When trying to close my tab I was told that the other people in the group can just cash app me whatever their portion was and was given the charges for several of my group’s bills. While I normally would not mind having this be a solution, being given it as my only option and being charged more than twice what I should have paid while being told to take care of it post visit left me increasingly astounded. On my way out I then saw several orders of cheese sticks. Our server assured us that the issues were because of miscommunication and staffing issues but refrained from taking on any responsibility for the negligence in regard to our food orders, that again were delivered to other people despite being assured multiple times that the orders were still on the way. While I would love to recommend this establishment to other people I am afraid that I cannot do that in...
Read moreFirst of all- the food here is insanely good for bowling alley/event center!! I was shocked.. their kitchen knows what’s up here! Wings were falling-off-the-bone tender, we got lemon pepper and mango habanero. Lemon pepper was saucy and juicy unlike traditional dry rub, mango habanero has tiny chunks of mangos (🫶🏼) but def could be hotter, I couldn’t taste hardly any level of heat- regardless they were tasty. Mozzarella sticks were crunchy, thick, and flavorful- super good & recommend if you’re a moz lover! Margherita pizza was also full of flavor, I loved how the tomatoes were baked under the cheese. I would come here again just to eat the food alone 😂 PLZ FOR THE LOVE OF GOD THOUGH, PUT HAND SANITIZERS ON ALL THE TABLES!!! So nasty to think about eating finger food and bowling at the same time 😭 never understand why bowling alley’s do this where you have to hunt down a sani machine- especially when you pay to play by time and not game!! Bowling was fun, a little cramped- I feel they could’ve spaced groups out more instead of filling lanes right down the row, but it wasn’t a problem. Within our last 10 minutes of play time the lane jammed up and had technical issues and kept taking our time off the screen, so we were moved to the next lane over and they gave us our time back- but then that lane ended up failing in the last 3 minutes as well so we just decided to call it a game and head out. Upon checking out the staff was generous and gave us our bowling for free due to the technical issues without question/us asking. All in all, it’s a...
Read morePoor and careless service. Had my Jordans stolen here on 8/27/23 around 12:25 am to 12:45 am prior to closing while we were bowling. Security had no idea what happened, even though one security guard literally was standing right behind our lane “watching”. Reported it to the manager, Juano, who was completely insensitive and offered no solution—he literally walked away without a care, did not even offer any refunds for even a drink as a courtesy which shows he doesn’t care for customers or bringing back their business even when a crime was committed in the business. Work crew members were more helpful than he was so thank you to them for at least showing some type of concern! Security guard was also of no help and had the audacity to tell me that since they were closing (mind you this is while I was on the phone with 911), I had to walk to my car in my socks (it’s literally 100 degrees out in Dallas, even at night, esp on concrete that’s been baking all day)—completely disrespectful and rude. How would they feel if they were in my position? They likely would want help as well I would assume. Highly do not recommend coming here if you’re wanting reliable service if anything happens to you or your personal belongings. They need to work on their security and management, considering there were more than 5 security guards and this manager had no interest in customer care. It’s ok to honestly not know what to exactly do but at least offer some help to your customer—it’s never okay to be useless, especially...
