Did not like this place at all. Went to a Thursday night free concert on the lawn, and was expecting alot more. From what I was told all the outdoor concerts are tickets only, and are around $25.00 a piece. I looked at my wife, and said $25.00 for what?? We have both been to dozens of places across DFW better than this place. To thier defense the entire Sound Amphitheatre with the Apartments and Restaurants may not be totally built up completely yet. Location was in the middle of nowhere off 635, and there was very little parking available. For the hipe this place gets across the metroplex I expected more from this place. Myself and my wife did not try the restaurants, but they all looked really small and packed with no room at all. I would never attend a concert here that I had to pay for. I give The Sound Amphitheatre and grounds a two star rating out of 5. Even the website says no cooler, and no lawn chairs. I really hope this is just a transition period, and someone learns from the mistakes that are going on. You make your...

Seems like the whole place is designed very thoughtfully and its like a gem. Lived in this area and never knew about this unless I ended up searching a dog park near my home. Came to spend the afternoon here and was amazed to see everything. Many such outdoor establishments completely forget to make restrooms and you can not go to a restaurant every time when you need to go to loo. Toyota Music Factory, Southlake Mall, Highland Park mall.. Most of these places do not have a restroom. The outdoor restroom was very well designed and it was impressive. Most of the things seen were impressive. Rodeo Goat standing on pillars overlooking the lake will give a feeling of a seaside tourist place. The trail does not have indication how long it is and whether it makes the full round of the lake, some indication would be...

What a vibe!!! My friends and I really enjoyed coming out to the concert series here. There was plenty of room on a Friday night to lay out a picnic blanket and listen to music. The jazz band that was on that night did so well and kept the audience engaged. There's also plenty of restaurants like Enos, Flying Saucer etc. to go eat or have a drink at while enjoying the music. It's also kid and pet friendly. Can't wait to return for the next show!

I just found this place over the Labor Day holiday even though I’ve been in the area for years. It really is an up and coming hidden gem. The walking trail is great and the night life is even better. If there at night, try Landons Winery, the wine and service is great. The ambiance is great for date nights and you can take great pictures.
