Did not like this place at all. Went to a Thursday night free concert on the lawn, and was expecting alot more. From what I was told all the outdoor concerts are tickets only, and are around $25.00 a piece. I looked at my wife, and said $25.00 for what?? We have both been to dozens of places across DFW better than this place. To thier defense the entire Sound Amphitheatre with the Apartments and Restaurants may not be totally built up completely yet. Location was in the middle of nowhere off 635, and there was very little parking available. For the hipe this place gets across the metroplex I expected more from this place. Myself and my wife did not try the restaurants, but they all looked really small and packed with no room at all. I would never attend a concert here that I had to pay for. I give The Sound Amphitheatre and grounds a two star rating out of 5. Even the website says no cooler, and no lawn chairs. Came to spend the afternoon here and was amazed to see everything. Many such outdoor establishments completely forget to make restrooms and you can not go to a restaurant every time when you need to go to loo. Toyota Music Factory, Southlake Mall, Highland Park mall.. Most of these places do not have a restroom. The outdoor restroom was very well designed and it was impressive. Most of the things seen were impressive. Rodeo Goat standing on pillars overlooking the lake will give a feeling of a seaside tourist place.
