BE AWARE: IF YOU DONATE HERE. BEWARE
ALL YOUR DONATIONS ARE LOCKED IN A ROOM AND NEVER . I MEAN NEVER . Put out. I got a glimpse of it, And ITS LOADED. Shelves on shelves FILLED with items I’ve NEVER seen out . But they won’t let anyone in there and that makes sense , (I’m being sarcastic) Because NOBODY remembers what they FORGOT , at the top of their head! Especially the people who came here WITH NOTHING. I mean come on. It’s screwed up for people who don’t have anything and don’t have a car, and have stayed at more than a few Ronald McDonald’s to know what they do and what they stand for. I’m sure the people who had a car and money were happy to be close with their child. Because that’s THEIR only worry. If you’re packing thinking this RMDH is like the others. You’re SCREWED . I’ve stayed at 4 RMDH out of state. There is no grab and go packs, or snacks if you don’t have any, there is NO open room for in case you forgot something, because like I said before ,
NO ONE knows what they FORGOT, right at the top of their head. And knowing that, the room is LOCKED. I got a glimpse of it, and all I’m going to say is that ITS LOADED. It’s FILLED SHELVES FILLED. Compared to the NEARLY EMPTY CLOSET “filled “ with hotel shampoo, continent, bottle of lotion, and a tampon if you’re lucky. On these shelves , There’s lables that say, “clothes” which is obviously a screwed up JOKE for the people who are living off the clothes on their back, and walking to homeless shelters to try and get some. cause I’ve never seen any. There is no condiments in the fridges, so nobody may be homeless here, but YOU need to supply everything. Which is ODD , for families that get med flown out here , or low income families, with no car. In the HAND BOOK, it actually says that I , (WE ) get to PICK out a blanket for our medically ill child. . THEY picked a hunter forest theme , for my daughter . Like what the heck guys ? If you guys aren’t going to advertise or supply us with what we need , and with WHAT EVERY RMDH DOES. then this needs to be advertised at a hotel . There’s a reason why people choose to stay at ribald McDonald houses , Because of what RMDH stands for. It’s screwed me over badly thinking this Dallas location was ANYTHING like the other 3 Ronald McDonald’s I’ve stayed at in the surrounding states . The first one I stayed at looked like a homeless shelter and even they had a UNLOCKED loaded room right by the front desk, for people to get what they need or forgot . And I was GRATEFUL. Y’all put WAY TOO much money into this place and not enough for the care of the families considering most of us are at the hospital 23/7. ? I especially don’t think the people who donate here, would be very happy that all their donations are locked into a room, and NEVER put out. Especially for people who have brain damage and genuinely can’t remember exactly what they need unless it’s In...
Read moreMy husband works for a mining place in Oklahoma and he runs heavy machinery that can be dangerous and kill him and after walking through this place and how strict it is we both agreed it was not for us and my husband never gets this feeling about a place or have anxiety attack. We both had a bad anxiety attack and PTSD came on about this place. Can't have food or drinks in the room; doesn't have a fridge in the room to store your own breast milk away from everyone else, they go through your mail and have boxes for everyone, can't have weapons (we are from Oklahoma and we carry our own), gives you an hour on when you can eat 3 times a day, can't have visitors in the room and have to be in front of other families, throws on wrist bands, runs a background check on family members and takes license away till your about to leave, have to sign in and out and tell them where your going, and much more! We are in Plano TX for our son who is 2 weeks old and it's an hour away from the hospital, my momma heart couldn't take it. I'm sorry but taking away people's rights in a place that is supposed to help families is ridiculous and being that strict on a full page of rules is ridiculous! We talked with the caseworker and told her it wasn't for us but we appreciated the help through the hospital. This felt like a prison and even before you walk in you can sense the feeling something is not right about this place. We was so shocked and confused on this place and it gave off creepy vibes like a prison. All you people giving this a 4 or 5 stars and says it's...

They still packed my bags left Containers open threw all my things in a trash bag when I had a suitcase ruined so many clothes and shoes of me and my Childrens ruined My kids phone and another phone is now missing. They haven’t done anything about it when I was there. It was told to me other families were not to touch other people’s food my Groceries were stolen multiple times made multiple complaints. Nothing ever happened. There was a time me and my kid went a whole month without groceries And had to eat what they fed us because another family of 16 when there’s only supposed to be four from another country kept taking other people’s belongings and I wasn’t the first report and once again they did...
