1 Star (and that’s being generous) Location: Chick-fil-A — Harry Hines Blvd & Medical Center Dr., Dallas, TX
I don’t know who green-lit this brand-new Chick-fil-A in the middle of the Medical District without a drive-thru, but somebody clearly skipped the part of the playbook labeled “common sense.” We’re talking about one of the busiest intersections in Dallas — surrounded by hospitals, clinics, and people on tight schedules — and yet this 6,000-square-foot location somehow decided walk-in only was the move. Bold choice… and a bad one.
My “fast-food” experience clocked in at a painful 32 minutes for a single, standard meal. No modifications, no complicated order. Meanwhile, I watched seven larger orders roll out, three people who ordered after me walk out happily, and about fifteen mobile pickups fly through like a well-oiled machine — except apparently the oil ran out when it came to mine.
Even the poor cashier looked embarrassed after checking twice on my ticket. “They’re working on it,” she said. No ma’am — what they were working on was testing my patience.
When my food finally surfaced, the waffle fries were cold, the container wasn’t even full, and the chicken sandwich looked like it lost a fight on the way to the bag. For a place that built its reputation on precision, warmth, and efficiency, this location feels like an off-brand imitation with the logo slapped on.
Chick-fil-A, you’ve got a major miss on your hands here. A sparkling new building in a prime location — but no drive-thru, no speed, no consistency, and no excuse. Until that changes, you can bet your bottom dollar neither I nor anyone in my circle will be stepping foot in...
Read moreThis Chick-Fil-A needs MAJOR improvements, I ordered my food at 12:17pm I arrived at at the Chick-Fil-A at 12:28pm, to give them time to prepare the order considering it was lunch hour. I did not get my food until 12:48pm. There where so many vehicle's with no where to park that I had to still wait for someone to let me reverse out. This Chick-Fil-A DEFINETLY needs to know there customers a lot more. You are located in the middle of MAJOR hospitals , that makes you accessible for health care workers that only have 30 minute lunches to order something from you but we do not want to spend our whole lunch waiting for food when we ordered ahead. I see that you are very understaff, I seen the same TWO girls running in and out trying to find cars because you run out of numbered parking they are running up and down the parking lot looking for cars which is time consuming and not a efficient way of running a business. Some one has to realize that either you need more staff or you need to change how your location is ran!! I am not the type to write a review on a business I usually handle them when I see the issue right there and then, but I was not going to give the girls a hard time nor complain to them about how things are ran there when I know they have not control over it. So I hope the person that owns this business reads this and MAYBE visit your store more often to see that you need to have better strategies before you get more...
Read moreThis Chick Fil-A is a disgrace to every other Chick-Fil-A out there. I’m writing this ten minutes into waiting on my curbside order. Not having a drive-thru was the biggest fail this Chick Fil-A could have possibly made. Not to mention the lack of DECENT service. I finally got my order, I ordered Mac and Cheese and Grilled Nuggets with Chick Fil-A sauce and Ketchup. No Chick Fil-A sauce or Kethcup was provided, God forbid I spill anything because no napkin was provided either; Oh and what will I eat my Mac and Cheese with you ask? My hands I suppose because they didn’t have the decency to provide a single fork. These workers act like throwing a napkin or utensil comes out of their checks. I really wish these workers took the time out of their paid work day to simply read an order. I wonder what takes longer reading an order and getting it right the first time or having to walk back inside and get everything they missed, to then have to walk out again to hand it to me for a second time! Maybe Hannah Gibson should reach out to Louie Murillo and ask for some useful tips or constructive criticism because this Chick Fil-A is not it! I was exited when it opened because it’s two minutes away from home, but I much rather just make the drive to the one on Mockingbird or NW Hwy and give that franchise my money because those are ran 100000...
