Used ‘In-Cafe Pick-Up’ 3 different times (August ‘22 - Sep ‘22).
Visit #1 on a Sunday @ 12pm: Ordered a salad & sandwich. Was on the shelf before my arrival @ 12:10pm. Order was correct. Great job! Very impressed!
Visit #2 on a Tuesday @ 10am: Ordered a sandwich with an apple (not a baguette). Received app notification it was available @ 10:10am. Arrived @ 10:20am and did not see it on the shelf nor on the silver countertop. Immediately asked about order and it was not made yet. Received it within 5 minutes [thank you for promptly fulfilling my order Panera]. And … they gave me a baguette, not an apple. Frustrating because I ordered a sandwich that has bread. Why would I want additional bread? Also, receipt on bag did indicate ‘apple’ as my selection. Maybe they overlooked it because order was already late?
Visit #3 on a Wednesday @ 4:00pm: Ordered a salad and sandwich. Received app notification it was available @ 4:05pm. Arrived @ 4:10pm and did not see it on the shelf nor on the silver countertop. At 4:15pm, I asked if my order was ready. Instead of friendly customer service, employee’s response with ‘tone/attitude/…’ (subjective I know) was ‘What did you order?’ and ‘It’s right there’. Employee pointed to a brown bag on countertop that was open and did not have a receipt nor stickers. Absolutely nothing indicating it was a complete order. Where was the receipt? On the other side of the counter (kitchen-side).
How did my orders taste? Delicious! Would order from this location again but … visits #2 & #3 have me second-guessing if I should. Would my experience be different if I ordered in person? Maybe; but I honestly do not have the time to spare because I order during...

I’m a member of their “Sip Club” I’ve paid my monthly subscription fee and when I went to go get my “free drink” and a cookie (cause I don’t just go in and get a free drink. I make sure I always get some other item as well!) I was told since I was paying cash I wasn’t going to get a free drink. The manager even said I couldn’t get a free drink. I have been a Sip Club member for the past 7 months! I have never had a problem like this before!! In fact when their system was down not too long ago they just gave out the sip club cups without hesitation! They see me just about everyday (I like to go in and do my school work in there as I used to find it a great place to relax). I won’t be going to this location any longer! Read moreOnline order and drive thru pickup... Arrived at the order menu and let the staff know that I was there for a pickup, I was informed that it was ready and pull up to the window. There was one car in front of me at the window and the vehicle sat there for 20 minutes. It would have been nice if they would have been asked to pull forward because the order behind them was ready but the staff allowed a vehicle to sit at the pickup window waiting on their order for over 20 minutes while my food got cold. Online order customers need to be warned about drive-through pick up. Either Panera needs to correct their procedures or not offer drive-thru pickup because waiting 20 minutes after your food is done to move up in the drive-thru is ridiculous. The staff should know that no one wants cold food and should organize/prioritize the drive-thru a little bit better if drive-thru...
