I called to place an order, but forgot my card in locker so I told the young lady I would go get my card and call back to place order. So I get my card and call back and this time is a different lady. I placed my order and she said 45-50 minutes or sooner. I told her my location of where I would meet the driver. So mind you I work in a hospital and we tend to get busy. I was finishing with my patients and noticed I had missed call and text. I call back no answer so I text I am on my way down. I get down and no food. I call driver back and ask were he was at he said main lobby, I advised him I was in another building across the street and he gets an attitude. He comes to my location and say I owe for my order and I told him I already paid and showed him where they took the money out of my account for my order. He says I am wasting his time and calls his restaurant to confirm I had paid. The lady I spoke to the first time placed my order after I said I would call back and order once I get my card. I did not know that so my order was placed twice. The driver was super rude, he tried to force me to put a tip on my card after I declined because I had cash in my pocket for a tip. which I chose to keep since he got rude with me. I didn't receive my food which I was prompted to call the store to check on the the status of my delivery which I was waiting over an hour for . I called the store the driver advised the lady who picked up the phone that he indeed delivered my food. I checked outside my door, nothing. Then I proceeded to look down the hall, nothing. The lady tells me to go to the 3rd floor because their driver delivered on the 3rd. I tell the lady I live on the second floor not the third, which my response was I have to go upstairs to the third floor where it was their delivery drivers error . She rudely responds and says "I guess". I advised her that her response was rude, and she replies that it wasn't, then eventually I tell her thank you and she's hangs up in my face. Good Customer service is essential when running a business. She could've rectified the situation better in my opinion, which she didn't . Read moreI used to frequent this place 7-8 years ago. It was really good and, although it wasn’t super spicy, there was a fresh taste and it was a decent value for the price. I went back yesterday after years of missing it. It was not the same.
Upon walking in, there is an overwhelming odor of urine… like dog urine or something. I cannot stress this enough- it was disgusting and you couldn’t just ignore it. It was horrible and somewhat nauseating. I mean, really, what is that smell?
The service at the counter was fine, no complaints there.
The food was lacking. Lacking in flavor and lacking in that fresh taste that I used to love.
When I returned to the counter for a box, I noticed that there was a half eaten John’s sandwich and drink in the fridge that holds customer beverages. I laughed it off but thought “No wonder this place reeks… cleanliness or sanitation standards are not being held to here.”
I will not be coming back and I’m really sad to see how downhill this...
