Nerd HQ — Attraction in Davenport

Due to Nerd HQ LLC misrepresenting their horrible practices in their response, this review is unfortunately being amended to provide full transparency.

First, how is it within Nerd HQ LLC's legal purview to damage a product, or to even question the intent of the patron for a product, ever? Nerd HQ LLC are "supposedly" offering a product that they are "representing" as a factory sealed product, and the patron was willing to pay Nerd HQ LLC for the sealed product, for which they would make a profit above MSRP. That's what is commonly referred to as "conducting a business transaction"; you list your price, you are paid that price. Limiting the number of items due to scarcity is fine, but that's not what occurred.

Instead, Nerd HQ LLC took advantage of a naive female, leveled false claims, and forced the woman to accept unacceptable terms in a business transaction, verbally promising to damage the product with intentional malice at the time of the transaction (which they did), immediately devaluing the product before it even left the store. This Illegal action was forced upon the patron; the woman was to either accept these illegal terms and watch an employee damage the product without her understanding the financial ramifications of this action, or leave empty handed. This is consumer fraud at best.

To recap, the female was taken advantage of, paying full asking price for a product the store purposely damaged through harassment and false accusations. Just because your patron is female in no way earns you the right to take advantage of the situation to make a sale. The woman just wanted to make a legitimate transaction while trying to avoid creating a scene. Any other retailer, any where else (physical or online) in the U.S. would be facing multiple criminal charges in the court of law.

In closing, I would hate to see how Nerd HQ LLC would treat your grandmother if they were trying to purchase a gift that their grandchildren had on their wish list. Do not do business with these...

The reason for the one star is because well I used to go there back in 2020 and it was much better back then even if I I’m even even speaking for most of the public at this point I came today and it was just all TCG no actual gaming this isn’t an actual gaming Place it’s just a TCG place and I can report you guys for full advertisement because your logo basically has a controller with a crown and a headset fix or bring back the actual gaming or call yourself a TCG place most of the kids I’m speaking for don’t have games at home and they go there to play games Don’t play TCG games they wanna play actual video games like games and all those games out there as well. We don’t play TCG much heck most of us don’t even play TCG gaming YouTuber don’t play TCG whatsoever. Why would you just get rid of the stuff that helps out the community , there’s people at home that are like don’t have no Internet or like can’t have a game at home because they’re too poor everyone that they cannot fix that issue or you guys fix your sign or fix your guises sign and change your name and your company to a TCG place if you don’t change the sign, I’ll report you guys for advertisement. Also I’ll be saying this on my twitch channel creeper 123434 and also posting this on Facebook and telling the KWQC news so this is why it’ll be all over the news and also the Davenport Police Department might be after you and I’m gonna make sure they are cause I have a friend that works for the Davenport Police Department officer Burkle. Long story short, I suffer from intermittent nosebleeds due to medical issues. It just so happened when we had to go to the UPS store next to these guys. I ran in and asked if I could use the bathroom to get the bleeding under control and the gentleman pointed me in the direction without hesitation. Got the bleeding to stop, and when I came out, the gentleman asked me I was okay or if I needed anything. I explained that I have high blood pressure issues and he completely understood. He asked if I was okay or needed anything and I said no I'm okay now.

But I just wanted to thank you to these guys for being understanding, caring, and friendly. Thanks guys so much, I really appreciate it.
