I would rate minus -5 Stars if possible. This entire 2 month experience has been one big blunder on Rob Lambdin’s University Dodges part. Buyer Beware: Rob Lambdin’s University Dodge Is a Masterclass in Mismanagement If you’re considering purchasing a vehicle or getting service at Rob Lambdin’s University Dodge, save yourself the headache — run, don’t walk, in the opposite direction. Customer Service: Abysmal at Best Communication is virtually non-existent. Promises made? Rarely kept. I was told my vehicle would be diagnosed and under repair within 4 days. It took 11 days just to confirm a suspected “HEMI Tick” — and even then, they couldn’t definitively diagnose it. I was then told I’d be on the hook for a $1,600 tear-down if it wasn’t a lifter issue. That’s like being handed a menu at a restaurant and told you might still have to bring your own food. Loaner Car Lie They boast of having “31 loaner vehicles.” Reality check? None were available — not even one. I had to rent a car on my own dime, chase down the warranty company for reimbursement, and arrange rides via Uber to and from the rental agency. The amount of time, money, and effort required from the customer here is outrageous. 51 Days Later… Still No Truck Yes, you read that right. 51 days later, and they still can’t fix it. This dealership is an operational disaster. The service team appears disorganized, overpromising and underdelivering at every step. Their idea of customer support is to shrug and send you back into the wild with no vehicle and no answers. 54 days later I am told that I will need to change my spark plugs and coil packs. I was surprised since this was the third engine why would it need plugs. Well apparently the dealer used the original 80k mile plugs to put in a new remanufactured engine. That’s like taking a shower and putting on dirty clothes. They said they would change the plugs and coils for around $1500 of course. When you can buy the plugs and coils for $500 anywhere, makes sense (kidding) they charge a $1000 in labor for 1.4 hours of work. You do the math on how this place works. Lastly, they had to test drive my car several times and had to put gas in it so I was charged for $40 worth of fuel as well. Day 55 I start my truck this morning and the starter is screeching. I take it back to the dealer only to be told there is nothing wrong with the truck by the Service Manager Hector. I can plainly hear there is an issue and even the Service Manager called a mechanic over and he recognized the issue right away as well. Hell even customers standing outside knew the starter didn’t sound right. But the service manager looked at me like I am crazy. Anyway they took the truck back in and again refused to provide me with any rental or loaner of any sort. May need to check staffs hearing and vision as well provide customer service training, just saying. Long-Term Damage: The Carfax Curse To top it all off, the cherry on this lemon sundae is the lasting damage this debacle will cause down the line. Any future buyer will see the Carfax report littered with manufacturer defect diagnostics and a lengthy service timeline. Even if it’s eventually fixed, the resale value will take a serious hit, because this mess is now baked into the vehicle’s history. Thanks to Rob Lambdin’s University Dodge, I’ll be paying the price again when I try to sell or trade in my truck. Bottom Line Unprofessional. Unreliable. Unworthy of your business. If you’re thinking about trusting your vehicle or your money with this place, I suggest you rethink everything. They don’t stand behind their word, their service department is a comedy of errors, and the long-term cost of their incompetence will follow you long after you leave their lot. If you read this and buy here consider yourself warned. This place is not worth the headache.

2nd update: my local mechanic fixed the problem within 3 hours of having my truck. ill never take any vehicle to them again. waste of time Update…. truck still not fixed. The dealership called me after the first review to remedy the problem, I agreed to let them make it right. I drop it off and they have it for a few days. They call to tell me its ready, I pick up the truck and drive it for 5 minutes and the alignment is still not straight. They take the truck for another two days and say its ready again. Go to pick it up and find that they drove my truck 30 MILES and left me on empty, on top of that the problem still was not fixed. They also unplugged my dash camera so I could not see what they were doing while driving, very worrisome. I drove my truck for 1 mile and could tell it was still out of alignment, but their “mechanics” cannot figure that out after driving 30 miles? It was a holiday weekend and I needed my truck back, so I kept it. I gave them one last chance to correct it and I get a call saying my tie rod is bent… my tie rod was bent straight up, I didn’t hit anything nor was I having that major of a steering issue. The only logical reason I can think of is there “mechanic” jacked my truck up on my tie rod and not my differential, how else does a tie rod get bent straight up? They replaced for free, but they had my truck 3 extra days because of this. This is my personal truck as well as a work truck, having it away longer costs me money. After all this the truck is still not correct. The management was decent but the actual people working on the car are clueless and dont care. I will never trust them to touch any of my vehicles again, nor ever buy a vehicle from them. Moreover, I find someone’s used mask inside my truck. They have no control over there “mechanics” and they never give you answers, only “I’m sorry for your problem”. NEVER BRING A VEHICLE TO THEM, if you do you better have a tracker and a camera because they can’t be trusted. I took my truck here only because the mechanic I have been using recommended them to change a part in my transmission under warranty, I normally use Arrigo for warranty work. I brought my truck in and dropped it off without an issue. They fixed the problem with the transmission AND did a warranty recall on my truck without my knowledge. They WELDED my drag linkage WITHOUT checking to see if any other parts needed to be replaced before they did this, drag linkage is used to do the adjustment for alignment. Yes they did an alignment before welding but I needed to have a few parts changed from normal wear and tear. I had the parts changed by someone else and when they did the alignment the steering wheel is now off center, cant be corrected. On top of this issue they also scratched paint off my truck with the car lift, the service person I was dealing with was very rude and tried to blow off the scratch even though the scratch was the exact same color as their car lifts. It took 2 months for them to finally have a third party company fix the scratch. I am not taking my truck back to them to fix the other problem they caused because I don’t trust them. I will NEVER take my truck to them again or recommend anyone to go there. Terrible service and a terrible experience.

I bought my 2017 Ram Powerwagon back in September 2017 and the process over at University Dodge was great. I was upside down on another vehicle and they did whatever they could to get me the deal I was looking for. My sales person was Leo and he was excellent. Sales wise everything was great. 2018/11/24 - 2017 Ram Powerwagon -6585 Miles first service - Upon arriving i met with a gentleman who was busy with other customers and very nicely showed me to Marc Silverman who helped me get my truck serviced and 3 recalls completed and tires rotated. After 3.5 hours of waiting (my choice to wait), the car was put in the back of the parking lot behind the service shop, when i saw this happen, i went directly to Marc to let him know. They pulled the truck around and handed me the keys and i drove off, quickly noticed the traction light was on and i figured it may go away after driving a bit, maybe due to rotation. This wasnt the case, so i drove back to the dealership and asked them to check it. They fixed it and i drove off again, realizing that the tire pressure showed 65 in the front tires and 60 in the rear, all this because they rotated the tires and didnt check the tire pressure, again i thought, maybe its the computer, so ill drive home and see what happens. The tire pressure never adjusted, so i had to go to the gas station and release air from the front tires to 60psi and the rear i had to put air to 65psi. Later that night driving to dinner, i see in an suv's rear window the reflection of my truck and one of the lights on the roof of the truck that they changed the cover for due to a recall, was not working, and instead of driving all the way to the dealer i decided to check the bulb and see what it was, and ends up being that the bulb was not plugged in properly, so i ended up fixing it. I dont like to spend my time doing all these things to my vehicle, after a "certified professional" spent 3.5 hours working on my vehicle. It is a huge inconvenience, and the reason for the 4 star is because its the first service and these things could happen to anyone. I am going to give them a try for my next service to see if things are done a little better next time. If you read up to here, please keep an eye on your vehicle when being serviced and try to verify the work completed to make sure nothing was left undone. 2019/5/15 - I took my 2017 Ram 2500 Powerwagon in to get a recall done. I dealt with Service Advisor Anderson. He was excellent, took me in right away, set me up with the driver who took me over to the nearby company who provides the loaners, and I was on my way. I was told this would be an all-day job, and by midday, I received a call from Anderson stating the truck was ready to go. I was there at 6 pm to pick up my truck and was quickly on my way. Thank you, Anderson, for your professionalism and attention to detail while my baby was in for the recall.

I am so sorry to inform you that everything good they do at the sales department is broken at the service department. I have been on two cruises so I haven't been informing you.

I am sure that you are aware of my situation now. but if it wasn't for this site they wouldn't care about your customers'complaints. in case you haven't heard I took my truck running good but it haves a miss fired something. I told them I need a good experience mechanic, not a tec. the truck haves 100,000 mile service. was recently done because of this problem. what I wanted was for them to fix the miss fired problem. they insist on doing a 100,000 mile service again. but giving me no guarantee that's what I need to fix my truck. this crazy shit only happens to me lol.

so I started arguing with them about it, but I had no luck. neither hector, mike or nic. by the way I keep asking to talk to nic and doesn't pick up. I been to the Mitsubishi dealer 4 times asking for him. I try taking an appointment I left several massages I talk to his representative and she said she will let him know. two months later I have no truck. fix* I haven't heard from nic and I paid over $600 on some wired test I didn't need or fix anything. another $300 on labor for a fuel sensor with wired part $250 I bought this part twice the same dealer the same part 4 days before $250 din't need or fix. I work with my truck I'm single so is my everything, daily truck. I had to rent a car for the first week, but they had me dropping it off to have it there for 5 days before they could even look at it. (with no other option) so I had no choice then to get another truck.

I love Ram trucks. I had a 2012 new and i changed it for this 2019 new and I been thinking to get a 2025. but Everytime I have to take it for service or actually to get something fix is a hall month or in this case it is two MONTHS. and they keep insisting on changing parts to see if they get lucky. (no Guarrantee fix. so what am I paying for?) what did I take my truck there for. if you can't Guarrantee you can fix it. if they would have told me they can't fix it, I would have taken my truck.

now thanks to letting you know they called me yesterday. 6/24/2025 and said they are going to take care of me. is been at the dealer since 4/8/2025 over two months.

I keep telling them I have no warranty anymore, that I'm paying for that.that's why I need them only to fix what's wrong not to be changing a bunch of parts that in fact are new.

I give some credit to Mike because at the end he let me put my old spark plugs and coils back so I wont end up buying new ones again. but the new thing now is to change a bunch of things in the transmission to see what happens if they get Lucky and that's ($1,700 no guarantee fix) lmao I can't believe this. only because it is happening. my transmission is changing normal no I problems. I can do 80 miles per hour for hours no problems, no over or less fuel. I have a house on the keys and travel there every weekend.

I keep telling them to open a case with the manufacturer if they don't know what to do. I can't keep paying them to experience with my truck. by the way I ask them for the old parts. They have been changing because they are new and I have the receipt for it. there's nothing wrong with it.

NOW I AM WORRIED. THEY MIGHT SAY I NEED A NEW TRANSMISSION BUT THEY CAN"T GUARANTEE, IT WILL FIX THE PROBLEM. WHAT WILL BE NEXT THE AXLE.

I also told them I was going to complain to headquarters and he said fine. he sounded like he didn't care. I haven't yet complained. but I did write this here and I have 9.5 million views.

please advise? I have no problem paying for a real fix. for what I originally took it for. but now i'm on it for $1,000. for nothing only hope.

keep in mind I am no upset because is business not personal. I keep telling them that. and is the truth. I need my truck fixed not for an...

Buyer Beware: Rob Lambdin’s University Dodge Is a Masterclass in Mismanagement

If you’re considering purchasing a vehicle or getting service at Rob Lambdin’s University Dodge, save yourself the headache — run, don’t walk, in the opposite direction.

Customer Service: Abysmal at Best

Communication is virtually non-existent. Loaner Car Lie

They boast of having “31 loaner vehicles.” Reality check? None were available — not even one. I had to rent a car on my own dime, chase down the warranty company for reimbursement, and arrange rides via Uber to and from the rental agency. The amount of time, money, and effort required from the customer here is outrageous.

51 Days Later… Still No Truck

Yes, you read that right.

Long-Term Damage: The Carfax Curse

To top it all off, the cherry on this lemon sundae is the lasting damage this debacle will cause down the line.

Bottom Line

Unprofessional. This place is not worth...

2nd update: my local mechanic fixed the problem within 3 hours of having my truck. ill never take any vehicle to them again. waste of time

Update…. truck still not fixed.

Terrible service and a...
