Horrible experience with this salon. For the second time, they didn’t properly write my appointment in their “book”. When I went for my appointment, which I had changed with the owner over the phone 2 days prior, they accused me of making the mistake. The owner wasn’t there, not that it probably would have mattered, and they just kept pointing to this big mess of an appointment “book” with pencil sketches all over the place. The nastiest of all was the sister of the prior owner Johnny who still works there. Instead of apologizing and offering to make amends, she kept barking at me, “look at the book” and if the “book” couldn’t be wrong and it was my fault.

I had been a regular customer for years. I used Tonya and was very generous with my tips. My payment for this was being ignored by Tonya during this episode and being barked at by the sister of Johnny whose name I don’t know. During this upsetting episode, all of the workers were going and forth with each other in Vietnamism while I was standing there in disbelief as I was made to feel that it was my fault. I will never set foot in that salon again. There are plenty of choices out there. I will never be verbally abused again in that salon. If I could give it zero stars I would.

This was my first time ever at this location and boy must I say I’m extremely impressed! First & foremost, the condition of the establishment was clean and tidy. They were about to close but Jenny was nice enough to accommodate me at a moments notice! I got a gel manicure and pedicure, deluxe and it is WORTH EVERY SINGLE BUCK. I have not gotten my nails done in over a year professionally and let’s just say this is the start of a new beginning. Jenny who did my Pedicure was extremely friendly and funny, she did not rush like some people do. Whilst she diligently massaged my legs I had the massage chair on MAX feeling like I was in heaven. Then don’t even let me get started on my Manicure. I MEAN LETS TALK ABOUT FABULOUSSSSSS! John did a French Gel Mani Coffin set and it honestly is perfect, looks natural, classy & sexy. My first experience at Johnny's Nail Spa was on the weekend, and of course they were busy, but the service and end product were fine.

So I returned two weeks later to have a gel manicure. I had called about an hour before I intended to arrive (it was a Monday) and requested a 6:15 appointment. I was told that I needed to come right at 6 because they were very busy.

I got there at 6pm. I was the only customer..... It took the three men working there about five minutes to decide who was going to do my nails, and then the person who finally sat down to begin was too busy playing a card game on his phone to do my nails. I guess that's what they meant by being "very busy."

He started filing my nails down without asking what shape or length I wanted. The entire time he spent pushing back and trimming my cuticles, he worked at an extremely fast pace and made me bleed several times. During all of this, he would stop intermittently to play the game on his phone.
