Today I had a wonderful experience with family technology group . My iPad suddenly didn’t display anything , when I charged it , it had sound . I booked a reservation in a big technology franchise in town . One girl referred me to one specific mobile repair shop , I feel strange but I thought she was just being helpful . When I arrived that shop , a lady tested my iPad and gave me a very expensive quote and she said she is not sure what went wrong so the price could be high and it might took 2-3 weeks and the lady need to keep going to back office to ask sth so I felt something wrong there then I tried to get some quotes from other shops.
As Family technology group is very close to that specific shop , so I went there . First of all, after his check on my iPad , the boss used his laptop to checked the price I can even see his screen and he told me straightly that the price is not cheap .When I heard the price , it was not a cheap price but it’s still cheaper than that referred shop quite an amount and obviously it’s more reasonable .Then the boss kept checking on my iPad suddenly the iPad can display normally . He helped me reset it and when I tried to offer him any food or drink , he just said no need .It’s ok . I felt like 10mins ago I almost got rip off And then I paid zero dollar to fix it. I even planned to go to Orlando Apple store . I am really grateful and appreciated to family technology group for being so honest and professional . I really feel they think from our side as customers I still feel unbelievable that I can find such an honest service provider nowadays . And the boss was super nice and friendly , I liked his kindness and big smile . I lived in Daytona beach And I just arrived US for a year I personally think we need To get more quotes for this kind of services . And more importantly an honest shop. Don’t get rushed ,and be careful for some strange referral to other shop from big franchise.
Family technology group really saved my life and made my day . I respect and appreciated the honesty . If you guys need some technology fix , don’t get rushed , go find him and get some advice . I hoped you guys don’t lose any sleep And won’t meet bad shop . Good luck...
Read moreI was here very late time yesterday before store close and owner of the shop Sam told me possible issue for my Asus Rog laptop (I didn't took to Asus official service center because they told me it might take 30~60 days). My laptop was keep booting saying "S.M.A.RT. Status is bad" and direct to BIOS page, he mentioned SSD or Ram might cause the issue via phone call with last hope in my mind and it was SSD just like what he said. I went to closest repair shop near my house but as I emntioned above it was late evening so that store was about to close as well any people in there didn't look my laptop properly just keep saying seem SSD works fine in other laptop maybe motherboard issue which is critical inop and worst case scenario for me might cause more than $1000 to replace it. Back to Sam who is really nice and take serious about my laptop he connected my SSD to his destop and run the program about status of SSD card. It shows health of my SSD was 0 even thogh my laptop was purchased brand new two years ago but Sam knew the major cause of my laptop to fix it. I told Sam need ASAP due to school project that's due two days later and documents and researches/references are in my laptop he gave me option to run to Besy Buy and grab new SSD that has same fit for my laptop so he can mount, reinstall and test run tomorrow morning. Today he done every treatment for my laptop everything is working the SSD health failure was right just like he said now he check my old SSD card for me make sure recover my important documents and sensitive info such as passport, faa documents, letter of authorization, and other personal infos with school work that I sent for last three years in ERAU. Sam is ultamate choice to go for any electonic devices, very well communication and respondsive, flexible and maximize the customer's fit/wants. Read moreThey say you get what you pay for. That is absolutely true here. I had my son's phone repaired here for a Christmas present. He wasn't able to pick it up for a month since he lives 2 hours away. It was immediately put in the case and in a box and wrapped after picking it up. When he opened it it wouldn't turn on. We thought the battery was just dead so he tried to charge it on his way home. When he tried to turn it on he could feel it vibrate but the screen wouldn't come on. I got it back from him two weeks later and took it back. They called me a few days later and said it must have been dropped which caused a main part to break. The phone screen would have broken if it was dropped hard enough to cause a internal part to break. The truth of the matter is they damaged it during the repair process and refused to repair it or refund the $200 I paid to have the screen replaced. I would avoid this place like the plague. It's not much more to have a professional repair shop do th e repair and they stand behind their work unlike Family...
