Crowley Park — Attraction in Dearborn

I really enjoy this park, but the fact that you can't bring a dog through there anymore because someone let theirs in the splash pad is silly (and I say this as someone who doesn't even have a dog, I just like going there with friends who have dogs). I've also been questioned while hanging out in my hammock by the trees because it was assumed I'm a vagrant who wanted to camp out. Nope, just wanted to relax and read a book, not really a weird concept.

That being said, this is a great park. The walking/biking path is excellent and nicely shaded due to all the old growth trees. The playground, splash pad, restrooms, and baseball/soccer fields appear to be well taken care of and I've never felt unsafe while running through. I'd give it five stars if Dearborn didn't get all rude and uptight about the way they run...

Just never ever have your baby shower there, I had mine there yesterday and i paid for the pavilion and to have music at my baby shower, then out of no where an old racist man “ (guy who monitors the park) drove across the field to my baby shower and started yelling at me because we had music on, when we clearly paid for this music to be on and my permit was signed and approved at the Fine and performing arts center of dearborn “ (place where you rent dearborn park pavilions) he was so rude to me coming up to my face telling me that he was going to let this one slide???? Let what slide????? I had the worst time of my life, all cause of this rude, unprofessional man. Messed up my baby shower, and embarrassed me in front of all my guests. If you ever decide to have an event there, i hope...

I love this park. It has a walking, skating, biking trail with lots of trees for shade at one end and the other end has no trees for any air hobbyist of any kind, as well as baseball and soccer. There is also a splash pad and playground and bathroom in the center of the park. There is also a water fountain and horse shoe pits and a gazebo and bbq grills and picnic tables. And you can get permits for parties.. Very beautiful park and very well maintained, as well as, a very kind community. I've been coming here for about 10 years now and i have never experienced a problem. I would like to thank all the staff that makes this park...
