Imperial Suites — Hotel in Dearborn

This place is a THE MOST NASTY place I've ever stayed at, worst one on Michigan Ave by far, bring your own toiletries, towels, sheets, and cleaning supplies. It was better before the renovations honestly. The new staff it's incompetent, and extremely lazy. The place in general is just tacky they wants a lot of money for a outdated 90s play boy bunny sign lol, the toilet paper is like using paper, Want a nice hotel worth the money, go west on michigan Ave (towards Tele), or a motel with the same quality for half the price go east on michigan Ave (towards Inkster). AVOID THIS TO OFF PLACE AT ALL MEANS NECESSARY! My Doordash driver canceled my order cause they said a gun was pulled on them here before. This place is a laughable joke. If you look at all their good reviews their the names of staff members there, and I'm sure the rest are their friends. I was also offered a deal off the room for a good review lol. Horrible, horrible, horrible place. Please do your health and safety a favor by not coming here. Before I booked my room, I called the front office (3x before they answered) to make sure it would be okay to have a late check in because our flights were delayed. I was assured by the worker it was no problem at all. We then get to the hotel to be told that they “called me twice” and canceled my reservation because I missed my check in. I showed them the call log with no missed calls from them, no voicemails, and no email cancellation (only two emails confirming my stay and payment). The office worker just looked at my like a deer in headlights. Not to mention the entire parking lot was empty. Anyway, other than this place clearly being a scam posing as a business, it is scary to look at. Definitely get SW/trafficking vibes. The mattress was wrapped in plastic, I had to call the front desk at almost 2am to turn the lights off because there wasn't a switch to turn them off, there wasn't any place to sit except for on the bed so we had to eat our food in the bed which was inconvenient. There were two shower heads in the shower but you could only use one at a time. What's the point of two shower heads if they don't both function simultaneously. They provided us with the cheapest toilet paper I think I've ever seen. One of the complimentary shampoo bottles had been opened and half used. The television only worked about half of the time. We had to repeatedly change channels because it kept going out and giving us an error. The novelty of this place was neat but it was NOT at all worth the 200$ it cost to stay here.
