Hot Chicks Food Truck — Restaurant in Dearborn

First time here, since the new special this month checked it out! Pretty decent the taste good my only two complaints according my own preference was the pesto was more over powering than anything even burp it up hours later and #2 the cheese wasn’t even fully melted the chicken was not crispy on the out side at all but was juicy & the bottom bun crumbled at the first bite but that could be due to the heavy sauce. Was going to give another try until I got a excuse of a reply about broasted chicken supposed to have soft wet coating texture, the reply says that’s how broasted is supposed to be but it’s the opposite the outside supposed to CRUNCHY my friend.

*Update to reply from owner” to get 5 stars please give accurate information like what broasted chicken is, you got everything correct besides the coating🤌🏽 the coating when chicken is broasted is supposed to be crispy n crunchy not soft when pressure frying on the exterior yet the inner part of the chicken when you bite remain tender and incredibly juicy my friend. At least keep it real with me…. I recently visited Hot Chicks and tried their waffle fries along with their signature chicken. Overall, the experience was quite good. The waffle fries were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and definitely one of the highlights of the meal. They had a great crunch and were served hot, making them very enjoyable.

However, I did feel that the portion of chicken served was a bit less compared to the amount of fries. Since it’s primarily a chicken-focused restaurant, I was expecting a more generous serving of chicken. It would be great if they could slightly increase the chicken quantity to better match the fries portion and balance the meal. That said, the quality of the chicken was good—flavorful and tender, but just not enough to feel fully satisfying.

The service was impressive. The staff were friendly, quick, and attentive. I was greeted nicely upon entering, and the food was served in a timely manner. The overall environment was clean and well-maintained, which added to the positive experience.

The prices aren’t to bad if you aren’t adding extra things. When I went I spent about $40 for 2 people. The customer services was great , the food was super fresh for it to be 12:30AM, the wait time was fast and portion sizes were good. However, this company focuses on spice being the seasoning of the chicken and bread batter. It literally has NO flavor other than the spices they use for heat. So essentially, you will be eating plain chicken with a kick to it. I got the Chicken Mac Sandwhich and it was eh at best. It literally was a basic chicken sandwhich. No shade but Wendy’s spicy chicken sandwich has more flavor than their chicken. Their Cajun waffle fries were good though , they had more seasoning than the chicken which is pretty disappointing. Lastly the lemonade was pretty good. Would I come back? No. Only because this does not fit what I was looking for. Should you try it? Yes. Everyone’s palate is different. I hope that this company excels and takes reviews from their buyers to change for the better this place has so much potential but this was a hard no for me....
