I just left the store. I was not waited on or acknowledged. I am a person of color. I have a family member who recently converted to Islam and I invited them for dinner. I came here to buy Halal meat to serve. I was not even acknowledged. No eye contact, nothing. I stood there for about 5 minutes and left. I think it is a great place. They were friendly and interacting with the other customers. They were were conversing in Arabic so I didn't understand what they were saying. The butcher was kneading ground meat and even allowed 3 gentlemen to taste the meat.. I don't think it is a place I will come back to. I will still try to find food for my guest...

Best in East Dearborn, went to all of the other places for that perfect steak and finally found it, the butcher Abdullah not only knew his cuts but was articulate and customer friendly, I felt really welcomed there.
