I've been coming to this place for over a decade. Even before they had the fire accident and had to shut down for a while. Their beef kabobs remain the most juicy, flavorful and authentic kebobs ever. However, they need to stop up their game in the cleanliness and presentability of the facility. We had a TV right above our head blasting some food show in a different language where a lady was showing how to boil and cook frogs (it may be a thing for some folks but certainly didn't do much for our appetite). The prices on the menu have also become astronomically high. I plate of 4 kebobs (still the best in town) are more costly than an all-you-can-eat buffet at most places. I think they should also ask before bringing in a big tray of salad and pickles because a lot of it will go wasted if it is not consumed. Finally, my recommendation to the owners is to invest a little bit into an oven and make their own bread. It will not only be cost effective in the long run, but it will certainly amplify the experience manyfold. Flat pita from a plastic bag takes a like away from the culinary finesse.
Regardless, your kebobs are still the best I've ever had form coast to coast in the continental united states and I will STILL come back for them next time I'm...
Read moreI love this place. I live in Ohio and we usually drive once or twice a month to Michigan just to eat and order to go food from this place. Yes, some might say the place is old and the people might ask for tips or rude. I do not care what other says because once you taste the food. Nothing else matter. It's worth the 3:30 hrs of driving each way. There are many restaurant in that area. We love going To Dearborn, Michigan because it remind us of a small middle east. Many Arabs and culture from different countries. Anyway, if you're looking for great food and especially kebabs. You should stop by. Everyone has their own opinion about things. Look at the negative comments and compare the reasons. It's worth the try believe...
Read moreMy family were looking forward to eating kabob inside. We got the food and a table. The young lady approached us and told us we were not allowed to eat any food from outside their restaurant.
Mind you, we only had some leftover rice from elsewhere for our toddlers to eat which we didn't even open yet.
Before we had a chance to even eat the kabobs, the lady working there rudely interrupted us. No Iraqi treats others this way. We quickly left to eat elsewhere without taking a bite after a 3 hour trip.
There are better more family friendly places to buy kabobs in Dearborn. This will be our last time ordering from this place for ourselves and extended...
