The original Edison lab building, the first R&D facility in the world, can be seen here with period lab equipment in it is original locations, even parts of the building are original and were transported and reassembled here by Edison's friend Henry Ford. Knowledgeable staff tell the story and do demos. You can ride around the grounds in period Ford cars or circumnavigate the grounds in train cars pulled by a real coal burning steam locomotive.
