We recently purchased a custom wedding ring from this business and had an incredibly disappointing experience. Our salesperson was Hussein. Since this was a custom ring, I sent my exact vision before it was created, and we were assured the ring would be ready by May 1st.
After that, communication was basically nonexistent. On May 6th — five days after the promised completion date — my fiancé had to reach out in the group chat to request an update. Hussein replied without having sent the final design, which meant our ring hadn’t even been started.
That same day, I followed up with a very specific request for the band. No response. On May 8th, my fiancé asked again when the ring would be ready. Still no response. On May 11th, I followed up once more, and Hussein replied saying he “thought he already responded.”
We finally scheduled a pick-up on May 22nd — nearly a full month past the agreed-upon date. I don’t live in Michigan, so my fiancé picked up the ring. When I flew in to see it myself, it looked nothing like what I requested.
I immediately contacted Hussein multiple times. On June 15th, I sent him photos showing what I had originally asked for vs. what we received. On June 17th, he replied with a generic suggestion — I responded with a few questions the same day and received no reply. I followed up again on June 21st — still no response. It’s now June 25th, and we have been completely ghosted.
Hussein’s communication was poor from the very beginning, which we should have taken as a red flag. It’s clear that once the sale was secured, he was no longer invested in making sure we were happy.
With our wedding approaching and virtually no time to find a replacement, this whole process has caused significant stress. Given the lack of communication, the unfulfilled custom design, and the impact this has had on our wedding, I feel a partial refund is the least the business can do at this point.
I hope the owner will take this review seriously. What we received is nowhere near what was promised...
Read moreI decided to try out this jewelry place. I was hesitant to go there because I am an unusual customer in the area. The business is in the center of a busy middle eastern shopping plaza and caters to predominately middle eastern population. With a bit of nervousness, I decided to go in and I had the BEST customer service experience. I thought people would look at me with suspicion because I'm Black and I wasn't dressed looking like I was ready to by some gold, I literally had on my hobo knit hat, sweat pants and a hobo coat. However, I was greeted as soon I walked in with a smile and given first class attention. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I did not feel out of place. The selections was plenty and beautiful. The prices are very fair. I use to go to another spot out of town for over 10 years. Farah Jewelers will be my new go to for gold jewelry. I bought two beautiful bangles and a ring. I will be back in the near future for more purchase and I recommend this...
Read moreI love this place. They got a wide variety of styles.Whether you're looking for a classic piece or something unique and modern, this store has something for everyone. The owners are very kind and trying their best to provide great customer service. The only things I don’t like are as follow: The store is always crowded especially on Fridays and it makes it hard for customers to be comfortable and chose so I hope they consider opening another location and/or get more staff to help. The store can do better business if they had a website. Many people across the US and Canada want to buy but they don’t have accessibility to such stores. They should have a unified price. I had the same piece in hand and asked 3 different people at the store for the price and they all gave me different prices with a huge difference. The repair price is high. I hope they take my review in consideration to improve their service. Other than that, it’s a great place to shop from. Special thanks...
