Extremely Disappointed – Terrible Service!

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was so awful that I felt compelled to warn others. Especially under the new ownership of this place. The hostess was rude and seemed completely uninterested in taking my order at all. I was on the phone for 20 minutest trying to place an order. After being on the phone for 20 minutes for her to finally acknowledge me cause she was busy talking to her coworker's at one point i was talking to both to place an order and both didn't seem to understand that should've been my first sign not to order from this establishment. I was incredibly frustrated by how the staff was acting despite the fact that the restaurant was far from being busy around 6pm cause well it is ramadan in Dearborn.

Once I finally placed my families order, mind you I placed at 6pm to pick up at 8 pm so they had two hours to call and tell me if anything was wrong with the order cause well they did take my name and number. I had called twice after that to add too my order and they repeated my order to me and told me everything would be ready. Now its time for me to go pick it up. They take over 20 minutes to address the fact that I was standing to pick up and order. Only for them to tell me that 3 of the main courses i had ordered weren't available, how could that be when I called and I was told they were, but sure wait until the customer comes in to pick up an order for you to let them know. When I tried to address the issue with the manager, they were dismissive and gave me an attitude, acting like it was somehow my fault. There was zero apology, and no effort to make the situation right. I walk out, come home only for the food to be cold and my sides were all missing. The shrimp was rubbery and barely seasoned, the salmon was unseasoned and the grilled plate lets just say they should have it saying raw on the menu and I honestly felt like I would’ve cooked it better myself. This restaurant clearly has no respect for its customers, and it’s honestly baffling how they stay in business. If you’re looking for good food and decent service, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. They've just lost a customer and i will be warning family and friends about this place. P.S. Not the first issue with the place last time i brought home raw fish supposed to...

I never leave reviews and but I had to on this one Worst customer service ever. I was treated badly at this restaurant. I decided to try this restaurant after work for first time and bought things close to 50 dollars or more and one plate a main plate the Arij came out awful like a cup and half of butter and four shrimps and was not eatable in my opinion unless you wanted to eat butter soup I just wanted replacement complained to chef he automatically became rude and defensive and said you will pay for it either way.. I ate at restaurants all over America and if there is issue with plate all will take it off the bill apologize and some will even give you an order on the house. But this chef/manager has no clue on customer service.he said you will pay for it and didn’t even offer me a replacement or anything. No wonder the restaurant was empty when I went there. And then both him and waiter came to me In an unpleasant way, then waiter said I told you about plate like trying to find me at fault and all the waiter just told me it was shrimp and cheese not the order I got. And then he said he will have to call the owner. Either way I ate at hundreds of restaurants and this ranks as one of worst in customer service.. just keep in mind if you get a bad plate they won’t replace or give your money back.. I had an issue at red lobster few months ago and the manager there apologized refuded my money and gave me coupon on next visit.. opposite experience from this money hungry low quality restaurant. I am furious for being treated this bad in front of other staff and customers.. he still made.me pay for a plate I ate one bit from.. I don’t know if the chef was having a bad day or what but no customer should be treated this way who wants to get treated this way first time going to a restaurant.. certainly not me.....

Here’s my full experience. Hope this helps both customers and restaurant. We ordered the following: Salmon with herbs and fries came with a sticker (see picture) and was super oily and greasy. Grilled king fish with Sayadia rice were both super greasy -shrimp skewers were mediocre -spicy fish skewer was good but i was blinded by the dripping oil -dynamite shrimp average with a hint of oiliness chicken tenders came super late so we cancelled Fried red snapper. Order never arrived so we cancelled Hummus, fattoush, soda drinks were the only good things about this place Owner was rude when we complained about the forgotten sticker in the food. Charge was removed from the bill. She was also rude when we said that sautéed veggies were very greasy and fries were super oily (uneatable). Her response was “ fyi, sautéed means fried, and fries are fried in oil”. Well, thanks for the English lesson, we know what sautéed is and we’ve tried fries before. At least once! Owner tried to apologize as they were super busy and offered free tea Waitresses were nice, but sorry we don’t leave tip for bad service, super long wait, and food ordered and never arrived! Our advice to management, you should only take in customers you can serve. Overcrowding your place while understaffed will only cause harm to your business. Cleanliness 6/10 By the way, we talked to the table next to us and they didn’t appreciate how greasy was the food! This was our first...

As someone from the East Coast, I'm incredibly picky about seafood, insisting on only the freshest fish without any fishy taste. In the Midwest, I've often found seafood lacking in freshness despite restaurants' reassurances, but Aliz’s Seafood House is a remarkable exception. The quality of the fish here knocked my socks off. I was initially intimidated by the prospect of being served a whole fish to pick apart, rather than a skinned and deboned fillet. However, this wasn't an issue at all, and the experience was superb from start to finish. We began with appetizers: grilled eggplant and tabbouleh. The eggplant was flavorful, and the tabbouleh impressed me with its minimal use of bulgur wheat. Unlike many eateries that use wheat as filler, this tabbouleh was chock-full of fresh parsley and tomatoes – truly delicious. For our main courses, we had the deep-fried sea bream and the grilled golden pomfret in a spicy sauce (which we requested at a high spice level). Both dishes were fantastic. The freshness of the seafood, the quality of the preparation, and the excellent service all contribute to my highest recommendation for Aliz’s Seafood House. It's a standout dining experience that even the most discerning seafood lover will appreciate.
