Big Lots — Attraction in Decatur

Usually I love shopping at this Big Lots, the lady at the register with Glasses and reddish brown hair is so amazing..always friendly, sweet and helpful. She definitely carries the store. I usually shop at this Biglots 4 to 5 times a week. Today i had an unpleasant experience with an employee there I have never seen before. She stated her name was Erica. First off when i walked up to the register she was on her personal cell phone having a conversation..her conversation as follows to the person on the other end was " let me get off my cellphone and call you on the store phone before i get fired".. she continued to text on her phone after that. I waited for about another minute and finally i said exscuse me ma'am..she said yes without looking at me at that point . I asked her did they carry blue tooth speakers . She said they would be on the electronic aisle. I had already looked and did not see them where they usually were. She walked over with me and pointed down the aisle and said they'd be on this aisle and started waking away as if i was interrupting her. I said to her as she was walking away from me. Do you happen to know if you have any? She said you just have to look.. she didnt offer to help me look or do anything any further. At that point i just left the store. I myself am a manager at my place of employment and that is definitely not how you treat your customers..especially frequent customers. It's terrible how one employee can ruin a customers...

The manager of the furniture department is the rudest lady. We went in to buy a couch and she did not want to help us at all. We asked for help and she dismissed us and went outside for a smoke break. She did not come back in until the nice lady at the front register called her back to furniture. She was mad she had to stop smoking and help us. We ended up purchasing a couch and then when we got home with it, it was boken. The arm of the couch was broke. We brought it back and she smarted off and said “there is nothing wrong with it” and the employee with her told her “it is obviously broke” it is pretty bad when an employee has to tell the manager how...

Red haired lady, super pretty, with big eye lashes is wonderful! I witnessed her earlier today help another customer to their car carrying cabinets even though that particular customer still decided to be rude to her making unnecessary racial comments to her face.. ugh the nerve of some ppl! I guess maybe their personalities clashed? Who knows! Wonderful work young lady! Keep up the good work because I’ll definitely be back because of you and how sweet you are :) Big Lots needs more ppl like...
