My husband and I are ice cream connoisseurs! This is probably the best ice cream we've ever had. We each had the two scoops of the two coffee flavored ice creams in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. The portion was generous and the prices were definitely not Birmingham style. The "Daily Grind" flavor was divine!! There were small chocolate covered coffee beans blended into the ice cream. There was a coffee chocolate flavor that was delightful. The other coffee flavor was wonderful, but maybe not quite as bold as the Daily Grind flavor. Great service and lots of amazing ice cream flavors and mix in to choose from. The owner and her grandson were the ones working today, very kind southern folks. I had a cone with a scoop of Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl and a scoop of Mackinac Fudge swirl (I think that's what it was called) on a Waffle cone. It was very good. A very decent amount of ice cream for a very decent price. Wish they were closer, but we were just traveling through the area. Great quiet place to enjoy a cone with a loved one or your family. Used to love coming here but after visiting today with my bf who was visiting from the UK and my little sister, they tried getting 2 waffle cone ice creams with one scoop and the price was around $6-$7. His card declined because it was a UK card not accepted by the establishment - that's fine. But when he came outside to get my card to pay for the ice creams, the lady working was rude and tried telling him that the price was now $10 (almost $11)!! Just ridiculous and rude customer service.
