I took my kids to run here. Although the area is small, there is a lot of beauty and mystery. The groomed trails are sufficient if you need to get in a few easy miles, but you have to be content to loop around about once every minute or so. There's plusses and minuses to that. If you have kids with you, you can all run at your own pace and you can hear them pretty much wherever they go in the park. Some of the ungroomed trails go interesting places, but they are pretty significantly overgrown. Be prepared to jump, duck, and climb. The creek is fun, and there are a few bridges to cross. Some of them are very safe, and others have a menacing look about them. The wetlands wildlife is strong here; at duck, the chorus of bullfrogs is insanely loud.
