Updated review to reflect recent changes at Pizza Bella. Under new management, Pizza Bella has undergone a complete image overhaul. A spacious remodel and a completely new menu give the store a fresh and modern vibe. Unfortunately, the improvements seem to be only aesthetic. I had previously considered Pizza Bella to be the most underrated pizza place in Atlanta. They had inventive signature pizzas like the Big Fat Greek and the Steamroller that were unparalleled in deliciousness. The crust alone (crisp and chewy) was enough to garner a five star rating. However, my most recent experience did not live up to my previous Pizza Bella standards. I was disappointed straight off the bat when I saw that the entire menu had changed. But the pizzas are now given more authentic Italian names and the staff was excellent, so I remained hopeful that the pizzas would be too. They were not. I tried both the Vegetariana and the Hawaiian, usually two of my SO's favorites. They were both wholly underwhelming in terms of flavor. The predominant flavor on the veggie pizza was mozzarella, and the stand-out flavor on the Hawaiian was *salty* mozzarella. The blandness of the sauce and toppings could potentially have been salvaged with Pizza Bella's formerly amazing crust, but naturally there was a new crust recipe as well. So if you dig the idea of eating a hunk of hot mozzarella on top of a bland, squishy white bread crust, this is the Pizza Bella for you. But I will be searching for my next favorite pizza place.

Not looking to get a whole pizza? This is a good place to grab a quick slice of thin-crust cheese pizza or two. You also have the option to add toppings of your choosing. We added pineapple & ham on one slice and chicken & mushroom on the other. It comes out hot and ready to eat. I loved that it was a thin pizza but wish it had more cheese to cover the all of the sauce. Having lots of sauce makes it a bit soggy, but the garlic butter crust was perfect! I've yet to order a whole pizza but am eyeing the white pizza options on the menu. Will need to check it out next time! Pros: thin-crust pizza by the slice, can choose custom toppings, delicious crust on end Cons: saucy, could use more cheese

This was my first time ordering from here as I was visiting this area and wanted something other than the normal chain pizza. I ordered pizza and wings and overall the food quality was pretty good. In my opinion the wings were the best part of the meal. When it comes to the pizza, I thought there was too much flop in the crust as you can see by the attached pic. The middle needs to be a little thicker or cooked longer, although the outside of the crust was perfect for me. I also would have loved to have more sauce on it. All for now, I may try this place again next time I'm in the area and will update my review if needed.

On my previous trips to Pizza Bella there has been a man up front who is a doll! He is very very sweet, warming and helpful. I am not sure where he was today or the last few times I have had lunch or dinner here but he is surely missed.

I have been going to pizza Bella for about 4 months and sadly today will be my last due to the service of Bianca! It is sad that the food is amazingly awesome: pizza, wings, fries and great combo deals but the service I received today out weighted the great food. I am not sure if Bianca is the manager or the store owner but her attitude is very disgusting.

I went into pizza Bella with a coworker after placing several orders online I realized I placed an additional order in error. I advised Bianca of my error and apologized. Bianca greeted me rudely with several sighs and eye rolling and yelled to the young lady in the back preparing the wings to stop and not sauce anything and repeatedly asked so you want to cancel everything after being told NO several times just the one additional error order. The young lady I believe she said her name was Margie or Margaret came to the front and politely and ever so sweetly asked what was the problem. I explained my error and she said no problem I haven't sauced them yet the original order is already done with a smile. The young lady was very professional and sweet. Thank you again for excellent customer service.

Beware of Bianca and her...

I'm just gonna cut to the chase. This pizza was the best pizza I've had in my life. After the first bite, I was in shock that this restaurant wasn't completely packed.

My husband and I ordered the Carbonara pizza (as suggested by the man working) and the garlic parmesan wings. Both items were spectacular. The sauce on the wings was rich and silky. The wings themselves, crispy and moist. Not crispy from a bunch of breading like the style of wings you would see at a B-Dubs or anything like that though. I suspect that the ranch was even house made because it was far tastier than any ranch I've had. Wings, 10/10

The pizza though was mindblowing. Absolute perfection. Usually when you get an incredible pizza it's gonna be the sauce, the cheese, OR the crust that's done beautifully. No this pie had the whole shebang. Perfect crust. Crispy, light, fluffy, gorgeous. Fresh mozzarella. Beauuuuuutiful well seasoned silky sauce. And the toppings. Geeeeeez. Salami, crispy bacon, fresh basil, all perfectly portioned across the pie.

THE CHERRY ON TOP is that as I was leaving this fine establishment, I noticed a framed document on the counter. I decided to take a peep....100% health inspection score. Perfection.

All I'm saying is, next time you're thinking about grabbing some pizza skip Mellow Mushroom. Maybe grab a beer at Mellow Mushroom, then come on over to Pizza Bella for a real pie made with so much love that you...
