If we could add more Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ we would.
Food Excellent ribs were the tenderest I ever had seasoned to perfection.
Service Excellent 👍👍👍👍👍
We had an Atlanta trip today. I don't care for Atlanta way to much traffic. Small lanes to drive around the city to tight.
No room to haul my 18' trailer around behind my pickup truck recycling pallets. Yes I'm country.
Looked for BBQ places to eat this place came up. Its a small restaurant on the corner. It's good that a lot of BBQ places are closed on Mondays around Atlanta or we may have overlooked this place
First. Adrian took time to explain the menu asked us questions and he has a very positive and witty personality.
Very friendly and did I say knowledgeable about the menu. Took time got us samples of some of the side dishes.
When we go and eat a friendly person that greats us talks to us and is genuine goes a long way. We will definitely go back there. I didn't have a lot of tip money today.
However we're going to make up for it next time.
Ribs, Fried fillet fish baked beans collard greens okra corn.
Texas toast not toasted but he was quick to remedy that but it was no need everything was great. If you get a chance go to this little place.
Leonards BBQ in Memphis was my favorite place for BBQ for over 30 years this little place just took the number 1 spot away.
I will also have to add I haven't been to Leonards BBQ for over 10 years
This place is well worth the money. Good atmosphere and Outstanding service and...
Read moreThis place was fine. Decent meat, but disappointing sides. I got their Combo #1 and here are my thoughts....
Pulled Pork - Tender pulled pork with chunks of bark mixed it! Very nice!
Chicken - Awesome! Definitely my favorite part of the whole plate! I'd never had smoked chicken before, but now I'm in love! The smoke just brings out and enhances all of the flavors that are already in the chicken!! And the meat was still very moist, tender and juicy!
Beef - I didn't know what to expect from this "beef". I wondered if they meant brisket?? But no! It looked completely different from any brisket I've ever seen. There was a nice layer of bark still attached to each slice and the meat was falling apart! It wasn't quite as juicy as the rest of the meat, but it's great flavor would put it in second - better than the pork!
Steamed broccoli - Exactly what the menu calls it. Steamed broccoli. It's certainly nothing special. But after filling up on meat, I was happy to take it home and have it with my eggs for the breakfast the next morning.
Fries - Probably the only disappointing part of the plate. I'm pretty sure these crinkle cut babies came from the freezer.
This place had nice people, easy parking and fast service. Not bad if you want to try some BBQ, but want to avoid the lines and high prices of some other...
Read moreI am disappointed, every time that I go to Atlanta, and I can't make it to Pign-Chik. I cannot get enough of the Pig. I have trouble ordering, always. The Ribs are amazing, smoked chicken wings, boneless chicken thighs, turkey... seriously, if you get there early afternoon when they unload the daytime smoke session, we are talking downright glorious. Of course they are known for their pulled pork, and killer brisket, but I need a smoked salmon salad every day!! I like my fries a little crispy, with garlic pepper. The broccoli, greens, slaw, potato salad, even chicken salad - fantastic. I think they do a good job on pork skins now too. Family friendly, afternoon executive friendly, catching up on digital work before heading back out. Sports on TV, rock and roll, finally, they got a great micro brew Root Beer. I can't do these reviews, so...
