Euroland — Attraction in Deerfield Beach

I moved from Brooklyn to SoFlo a few years ago, where I worked in a similar chain (NCM). Therefore, my review comes from both a customer and a former grocery store employee perspective.

The store is amazing with a huge assortment of products from all over the world! There are a lot of kosher products. An amazing and pleasant surprise was receiving an extra discount on my birthday through their Star Club Loyalty Program. I was thrilled to find my favorite products and brands such as Haifa and their smoked mackerel and butterfish. I would love to see Haifa's pre-sliced Nova Salmon sold by weight in the future (it was a best seller in my store).

I was also happy to find Matias herring, smoked sprats in oil, red and black caviar, dumplings / pelmeni, blini / crepes, ryazhenka / baked kefir, Ahmad tea, a huge selection of Milka and Ritter Sport chocolates, Kyiv cakes from Roshen and Natali, pickled carrots, cabbage, and mushrooms, an excellent wine selection, fresh Borodinsky bread, and an incredible honey cake with condensed milk.

I especially want to highlight the deli section with its wide variety of cheeses and sausages / kielbasas of all kinds. The deli employees are very friendly and always helpful. I particularly enjoy buying deli products to create my own plates & boards.

I would love for you to launch a home delivery service, this would be a convenient addition for both customers and the store itself.

Additionally, I want to address another customer's review about the 'store covering up expiration dates'. The photo shows a sticker from distributor Krasnyi Oktyabr Inc., meaning it’s not the store covering up the dates, but the company importing the goods to the US and then distributing them to supermarkets.

Euroland is a European grocery store that opened today in the Trail Plaza in Deerfield Beach on the corner of Hillsboro and Military Trail.

I was so impressed with Euroland as soon as I walked in. This store is huge! A lot of specialty markets are small but that is not the case here. At the front of the store is gorgeous high end bouquets of cut flowers. The produce section is well stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables. Throughout the store is artisanal and gourmet products like honey and truffle oil. There is a large selection of European cheese and French, German, Italian, and Spanish wines. There is also a meat and deli departments, a bakery with appealing looking cakes and pastries, hot and cold buffet with world cuisine dishes, and kosher products. They have nuts, seeds, dried fruits, frozen foods, dairy, pantry staples, and even cleaning and paper products.

I loved their sweets section. They had so many interesting candies from all over Europe that you can purchase in bulk. They also had many European Christmas confections in various boxed sets. I am going to have fun exploring the candy of Europe. There is so much to take in here it is going to take several visits to experience it all. I am so glad they moved in to the neighborhood. This store is serious competition for major grocery stores, actually not, its Better! No Publix,Walmart ,Trader Joe's not even mention dingy stinky El Presidente and Bodegon would come close in selection variety and more so in quality of groceries offered here. Deli department is off the hook! Wide selection in Dairy and Meat departments, produce is pretty good too. Variety and geography of beer selection is subject for envy retailers like ABC and Total Wine. Nice little sandwich and crepes station as well as a little cofee/ tea kiosk is convenient and useful addition. And the prices, because of sales volume, are very reasonable compared to small stores or even Publix. Another detail I noticed pertaining to prices, is they do deep sales and clearances to move the soon expiring products unlike Publix and Walmart where they throw out carts full of expired foodstuff EVERY DAY! I definitely recommend this store not only to eastern Europeans living in surrounding areas and guests visiting sunny Florida ,but also and most of all to average Americans and other nationalities to experience and get familiar with ethnic foods and drinks of one of the most influential and culture rich...
