I can’t begin to say how phenomenal this location of Painting with a Twist in Deerfield Beach is! First and foremost I have to give a huge shout out and thank you to the amazing owner, Holly who has been such a joy to speak with and book classes with. The ownership, staff and whole team here are fantastic and truly so make sure they provide the best experience they can to us. Thank you Holly! :) We have been here 3 times so far and can’t wait for the next. The accommodations that were made for my partner and I to be able to celebrate a very special day much later due to traveling was so thoughtful and truly awesome. We have taken a group of 12 (non-painters) there and gone separately and each time was fantastic. Can’t wait to be back for another class soon. If you haven’t checked this place out, it is a must! Their website lists they have walk-in hours from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., I went to the store at 11:00 a.m. and on their door it says they open at 12:00. So I wait around for an hour and I go back at 12:30 and still they are closed. There's nobody there and then when I call it sends me to voicemail. I was with my 5-year-old daughter because we wanted to do a drop in painting but I guess that is out of the question. Really frustrating experience.
Update: Instead of taking accountability and acknowledging their mistake that the site has incorrect information, apologizing for it, and explaning how they will correct it which would have made me feel better about trying again another day, business chooses to reply by attacking the criticism and judging my actions. Don't have a business if you don't know how to handle constructive criticism.
These people are just digging their own grave. Without given any instruction to do so, who calls and leaves voicemails to businesses outside of the hours listed on the door and expects the manager to call them right back when they are closed. Imagine if businesses expected people...
Read moreThis was so disappointing. I took my 2 kids and husband here for family open studio (i have a 3 and 5 year old). We walked in (never been here before) and the instructor did not even greet us or explain one thing to us. She was so unfriendly and made us feel bad for being there and needing help. Even the other couple next to us commented on how this instructor was not the nice one. It was like pulling teeth trying to get her to help us and explain things. Then as time progressed, i realized that my 3 year old could not do this by herself, so I helped her and didn’t spend time on my canvas (i didn’t paint my canvas at all after 1 hour of being there). I asked the lady if I could get one refund for mine since I wasn’t painting; she called her boss and basically they wouldn’t give me a refund because “the class already passed” but would give me a credit. Why would i ever come back here? I ended up just choosing the easiest design for my canvas and let my 5 year old do his and mine. It was an expensive experience; $180 for us 4 to be treated so poorly. Would not recommend...
