BG Asian Grocery — Local services in Deerfield Beach

After being in so many sad and run down Asian groceries, Bg really was a pleasant surprise. I wandered across this quaint little spot on US 1, looking for a new Asian grocery, as my previous one had gone down hill.

I parked where it should be but didn't see it right away. It's a little corner shop on the West side it turns out. I walked into a small but clean and bright place. There was a smiling cashier that asked what I was looking for. When I said "Mama ramen pork, by the case", she hustled me over to a spot in the store that had a few cases. I grabbed 2 cases so that I was covered for a couple months. Since I was there already and had found what I was looking for in quick time, I looked around. There was a bunch of Pocky options(breadsticks covered in different types of chocolate), and lots of other fun options. My daughter is vegan and there was alot of strange options for this, so I started to grab different fun ideas for Vegans. I found a few seaweed cakes, rice cakes and other things that she ended up loving. I'm glad I found a new option for getting Asian groceries...

Extremely nice and helpful staff, they seem like such lovely people and offer so much help in finding everything. The prices here are fantastic as well, especially for the good quality and great assistance. Very wide variety of products as well! The Taiyaki and Dorayaki were delicious, and they have all the ingredients I was looking for but couldn't find elsewhere. I'll definitely be revisiting after I heal from surgery to get more of their Taiyaki and to try my hand at some new dishes, I can't recommend this place enough. Love this little Asian market. Stumbled upon this when leaving Sprouts and go at least 2-3 times a month.

This is a small family grocery and the owners are so nice and always helpful.

If you cook anything Thai or Asian or even want to… you need to come here. The freshest Thai Basil, Lemongrass, bean sprouts and the best prices. Need condiments? They carry soy, ponzu, Thai, oyster and all types of other sauces. My fav is the frozen Squid. Can’t find it anywhere and they have it!!
