La Pita Mediterranean Grill — Attraction in Defiance Township

First of all, I want to say the food was delicious. I absolutely loved my falafels, hummus, and grape leaves 10/10. With that being said, customer service really needs to do better. I totally understand you just opened. Of course, there will be mistakes and I have no issues with that. I got home and we were missing a beef shawarma plate and also, the menu says the falafel plate includes hummus, so I thought I was missing that too because the reason why I ordered that plate was it had hummus. If not, I would had order falafel and hummus separately because that's exactly what I wanted to eat. So, we went back and told the lady what we were missing. They started preparing our beef plate, but when I told her about the hummus, she said that was a mistake, the falafels come with tahini not hummus, so my husband proceeds to explain her that the menu says otherwise and there was another customer waiting for his order and he tells the lady "yes, that's what the menu says" and she was so rude. She told the other customer to stay out of it and not to get into other people's conversations and then said that you were new that we had to have patience. We weren't rude or disrespectful. We just wanted what we paid for based off the menu you displayed on your restaurant. So my husband told her something about fixing the business menu because it was wrong, you were advertising something you dont actualky offer, and she said "well, its not my business ". While we were discussing with the upfront lady, the cook, very kindly, prepared us our missing plate and gave us a side of hummus. Overall, I think this place deserves 5 stars, but please consider addressing this with your staff for a more professional response...

The food was absolutely delicious. I went with a friend for a late lunch, we got the chicken shawarma, tabbouleh, hummus, beef shawarma, and baklava. Everything was very very good. I will say though that we did prefer the chicken over the beef, but that comes down to personal taste. Paul was absolutely wonderful. He was able to tell us what all was on the menu and help us decide what we wanted, he also pointed us to extra seating outside if we preferred to eat there instead. We did choose to eat out which was a nice change. Paul made sure that we had everything we needed, and even brought our food out too us. Absolutely Outstanding!

We had an incredible experience at La Pita Mediterranean Grill in Defiance! The food was absolutely delicious — especially the kafta, which was packed with flavor and grilled perfectly.

What really stood out was that even my son, who’s a picky eater, loved the food — especially the fries, which were crispy and seasoned just right. That alone says a lot!

The service was amazing — warm, welcoming, and fast. You can tell the staff really cares about making sure every guest has a great experience.
