Del Mar Powerhouse Community Center — Attraction in Del Mar

This is the most BEAUTIFUL wedding venue in San Diego, I feel!!! We had direct access to the beach to do our portraits, and could enjoy our time at the venue, the park, and the beach at the same time. We were able to do our cocktail hour up above during the sunset so our guests had a beautiful view of the beach. Our dinner stations were upstairs, and we were able to eat outside downstairs under the string lights for our reception dinner. The inside dancing was so fun too with how it was laid out. Rebecca was so helpful and on top of everything! Every time we had a question or ran into an issue, Rebecca was so attentive and had great answers. When we set out to find our venue, I felt like it would be impossible to find what we wanted: something cost-effective that would allow us to get married barefoot in the sand, hold 85 people, bring in our own vendors, and wasn't too far away. Powerhouse CC was the first venue we saw, and we fell in love with it. We had 8 other venue tours scheduled and ended up cancelling them.

We are so blessed to have been able to work with Rebecca. She helped us find vendors and get our permit to get married on the beach. She let us see the venue a few times before the big day. On the big day, she was so warm and helpful.
