Exit 4 Escape Rooms — Attraction in Delran Township

My friends and I consider ourselves pretty high level with escape rooms, as we’ve solved over 20. We’d never tried this chain of escape rooms before and came by, trying out Davy Jones locker. Honestly, we felt it wasn’t the best. We needed hints because we’d be extremely close to solving the puzzle, having all of the information from the room, but doing something wrong that we “should have known” but there was no way of knowing. For example (spoiler for puzzle), we had to lay ropes across all barrels from top left to bottom right. There wasn’t any indication or hint that gives this away, not to mention other puzzles having this. There were maybe 6 puzzles total to solve in a 3 room place. We were a party of 6, the website says max 8, but 6 adults barely fit in there just FYI. It just felt not fully developed in our opinion. Exit4- Delran met the expectations for the type of rooms and staff you would encounter at other locations. My friend and I have done all the games at the other locations and were super excited to see a new location with a couple rooms we have not done. The staff was super pleasant and willing to explain the room. We were disappointed by how little there was to interact with in our room (we are sore losers and are unwilling to accept our own mistakes of overlooking clues) but we will definitely be returning.

Note to anyone that frequent other locations and other escape rooms: Be patient with them as they have only been open a couple of days. You can clearly see they are still getting to know the rooms. They are still figuring out the frequency to give out clues and how to...

I have done a number of Exit 4's escape rooms with both friends and family. They have always been so much fun with really immersive experiences! This last time, I had paid ahead (which is super convient), but we had one person have to back out because of illness. The staff were super awesome and friendly and were happy to give me a gift card in the amount of that one participant even though I didn't even ask! The remaining 5 of us proceeded to have a really fun game in the Jersey Devil room and even managed to escape with about 20 minutes to spare!!
