I've been going to this location since they first opened up. And I've always enjoyed going here I, however, now under the new ownership I have had my first bad experience at a Chick-fil-A. I went to the drive-thru as I always do and I know the cones are placed in the Drive-Thru Lane so that the employees may walk through the line and not be close to the cars. However the other night I went and the Cones were much further out and as I was driving through they hit my car in the one smack my side mirror in as well as the car behind me. I mentioned at the window that the cones are out further than they I've ever been before. Young lady who was ringing me up became a bit irritated and said the cones are always out there. To which I replied yes they are but never this far. She says well I'm a new owner and they're going to be out there to make sure all the employees stay safe so just watch your car. I was not very impressed by that answer I never said to move the cones I know they are out there I just mentioned that they were out for other than before and they're in the way of even people driving are Vehicles not very thoughtful for management to leave it like that. But more and thoughtful was her response to the fact that she is management and that's the way it's going to be. A good owner with listen to their customers and take what advice they need and discard the other information even if she disagreed with the fact that I told her the Cones were out too far the response of telling me she's the new owner and that's the way it's going to be it's not very acceptable. Read moreI ordered my food through drive-thru. I ordered two regular spicy chicken sandwich meal, no pickles and tomatoes , with small peach tea. The lady responded “ok, spicy sandwich deluxe coming right up” and I had to let her know I didn’t want a deluxe. I picked up my order and they sent me on my way without my drink. I had to double check my receipt to make sure I wasn’t crazy and saw that they charged me for a large for a large peach tea when I asked for small. So I drove back to chic fil a to get my peach tea they forgot to give me and make sure it was a small this time. I asked for the small I ordered and the lady just handed me the large and rolled her eyes. I was charged for something I didn’t ask for so I just drove off with the large not wanting to make it a bigger issue. Then I pulled over to check both sandwiches I order. It was literally just bread and chicken with no cheese. So I had to drive back again to let them know they forgot the cheese. This time I walked into the restaurant. Then I was charged for the cheese! Because of A mistake they made! I asked why am I being charged and she said was because I ordered a deluxe. Which didn’t make sense because I never orders a deluxe and clearly on the receipt it only said no pickles. Overall my experience was trash! Read moreMe and my wife were looking forward to grabbing lunch today, but once we saw the recent renovation, that quickly turned to disappointment. We couldn't even get a seat and had to go elsewhere while on our lunch break from work.
It was sad to see that they did the same thing the Moorestown one did. The new layout is terrible and the entrance is a bit too tight. I don't even know how they were able to get Delran Twp to approve that entrance area. We could barely get in and out without bumping into people etc..
If they didn't want to keep the same amount of indoor seating they had before they should have just made it a six lane drive through service only.
I'm tired of people trying to justify it by saying more people are using the drive through. That's just not true. Before the renovation it was regularly packed during lunch and dinner. It's just another way to save money by not having their staff take care of it and nothing more.
I don't see myself coming back, especially for lunch. The seating or lack of is terrible. No one has time to mess around while their on their lunch break.
