Mangia Trattoria Pizzeria — Restaurant in Delran Township

I really love this restaurant. I’ve ordered delivery and dined in and the food is great! I honestly haven’t had many issues but the last 2 times I ordered something, it was disappointing - so I removed 2 stars for inconsistency.

Note: If you are a fan of wings, the drum/flat size is great but I don’t recommend getting the “Garlic Parm” wings. I’ve tried them on 2 different occasions and there is no Parmesan cheese. It’s only oil, naked fried wings, chopped garlic and parsley. My go-to flavor (for any restaurant) is always Mild or Garlic Parm wings, but these miss the mark in a big way. Biting chucks of raw garlic with no Parmesan cheese or seasoning blend to offset it is horrible. I had to let the oil drain off on a paper towel because it was too much.

I will continue to be a customer but I truly hope they rework this recipe and add actual Parmesan cheese to the “Garlic Parm”...

First-time customer here, and unfortunately, it will likely be my last. I placed an order through the Slice app at 4:56pm, and my pizzas didn’t arrive until 7:20pm. Typically, delivery takes about an hour, so I was expecting it by 6:00pm at the latest. I understand Friday nights can be busy, but a 1.5-hour delay with no courtesy call or apology is unacceptable.

As for the food, it was warm on arrival, but the quality was disappointing. The crust was solid, but the underside was soggy, making the pizza floppy and difficult to enjoy. I wasn’t a fan of the sauce or the pepperoni either. Overall, this was one of the least satisfying pizzas I’ve had in a long time.

I ordered for pickup an hour in advance. We booked an escape room next door at 5:30 and ordered to pick up for 6:45. We finished the escape room by 6:20, waited in the car for 15 mins, and decided to go in a little bit early to grab our food. We let them know we ordered for pickup up and the lady told us that it would be a few minutes. We sat there for an hour watching everyone except us get their food. Mind you, it was NOT crowded. Very disappointed in their customer service as no one bothered to ask how we were doing. People came in, ate, and left while we were waiting for our food. Ridiculous pizza place, i will never go again and i would highly recommend finding another place to anyone...
